Unser Hund zerlegt Spielzeug meistens innerhalb von Minuten, daher fand ich die Idee hierbei wirklich klasse. Es hat tatsächlich nur 20 Minuten gedauert bis der glückliche Kaktus sein Leben lassen musste. Die knisternde Blume war zu verlockend, um sie nicht sofort abzubeißen. Der Traurige hält allerdings nach über einer Woche immer noch und der Hund ist nach wie vor begeistert. Der Kaktus quietscht leicht und wird seit Tagen überall mit hingeschleppt. Würde ich sofort wieder kaufen!

I got a 7 year old pittie. I order all the toys thinking they’ll be destroyed within 2 min. So I had no expectations of this. Everything I buy is gone within seconds, oh well still making my baby wag her tail.
Did this get destroyed? Yes.
But it took her some time cause it’s much sturdier than I expected. Took her 2 days to get to the second layer and she’s still trying to get to the actual ball inside.
So if it lasts her a week? I consider it’s a great toy.

This is a great toy that’s held up very well. My dogs play tug of war with it and the 1st layer still hasn’t come off. My dogs play with it lretty much daily. I also love the cactus design. Very cute!

Our GSD mix puppy absolutely loves this toy and she hasn’t even tore off the layers yet. She’s getting close, I think, but hasn’t yet. Hands down her fave out of all the toys we have bought her in the last 6wks. I just bought a few more like it from Bark box since she enjoys this one so much (plus, I bought a second one of this one for when it’s completely destroyed) and it was more durable than I expected it to be. She loves grabbing it by the flower and tossing it up in the air.

I’ve had a hard time trying to find toys that my dog, Zara loves because she’s actually very picky. Ive gotten plenty of Kong toys that are well known to be indestructible but she wants nothing to do with them. Then I got her ropes and that seemed to be good for a while until she was getting sick in the middle of the night from eating all of the string. Stuffed toys aren’t good because she’ll rip them within seconds and eat all of the stuffing. I felt like I’ll never score the perfect toy for her.
I found the three layered cactus toy and decided to give it a go. It’s clearly designed to be ripped and destroyed to get the ball in the middle which is actually really cute and fun to see all of the layers.
The cactus arms have stuffing and of course that’s the first thing she went for and ate. I had to watch her and make sure I took the stuffing away before she ate it. And before I knew it, she ate half of the first layer fabric lol once she got through the first layer, all she’s been doing is walking around the house with the toy in her mouth. But now she’s tired and passed out on the couch from all of the fun.
This toy won’t last long with a toy destroyer but it sure does give them something to do and it’s a cute toy. I do recommend!!

One of the best dog toys you can buy, full stop. My kid is a destroyer and relishes pulling apart soft toys. Nothing will slow him down and cheaper softies fall apart in minutes, literally. This one is built to not only slow down such a ruinous force, but actually transform into different toys throughout the process. He still hasn’t reached the final stage after over a month, which is unheard of! You’re really getting three high quality toys for the price of one. Don’t even hesitate, it’s fantastic.

Mini review: Our mini dachshund who obliterates every toy in his path is obsessed with it. Has lasted for 10 days now. The “final” toy seems very strong and will last for a long time. Excellent value, we’re buying more toys from this brand as a result.
Longer review: Our mini dachshund has some incredible chewing power. He destroys most toys in about ten minutes, even ones that are described as tough. And once he’s destroyed them, he loses interest instantly. All of these things had me expecting that this toy would be just like all the rest. Cute and fun for a few minutes, but nothing more. Well we were blown away.
It’s really cute and well designed. Our pup seemed to love getting at what was inside. He never tried to ingest any of the fabric and best of all, there is NO FIBER FILLING. Fiber filled toys are the bane of my existence. The only material inside, apart from the “second” toy is a thin mesh liner printed with the Barkbox logo and text saying “time to throw me away” to remind the pet owner to toss the now damaged outer shell. We thought this was a really nice touch. Also the innermost rubber spiky ball (it’s what’s inside the sad-faced part of the toy) seems to be scented like coconut? I wasn’t expecting this but it was kind of a nice surprise, admittedly. Dog toys can get pretty rank after awhile but this one still has a nice tropical smell to it.
Anyway, this toy has incredible value for us and we felt that it was well-designed. We’re buying more and will for a long time. I wish I had paid attention to the Barkbox brand years ago!

I have a large dog (Staffordshire Shepherd Pit mix) that loves to tear apart things.
The last toy I bought he had ripped it apart and had the spiky squeak ball out in less than 2 weeks. This one it’s been almost a MONTH and he has not ripped open the body. The squeak is quiet because it’s still encased in stuffing and cloth. He loves to chew on it.
The flower and one arm were torn off within 2 days of giving this to him upon delivery.
This toy either is very well made or my dog wants to make this toy last longer than the other. Irony is that I want him to rip into it so I can see the actual size and color of the squeak ball; also to know how loud it is once it is finally revealed.
3/28 So the squeaker broke before my dog even revealed it .. I could hear it rattling around still. I contacted customer service and they sent a new one. It wasn’t the same as the cactus but it is still nice of them to do.
Oh and when dog finally revealed the blue spiky football he was no longer amused. The first layer was the smiling cactus and the second is a sad cactus. It’s adorable and the stitching on the second layer was not as tough as the first one.

Our dog really enjoyed this product and, even after 8 months from when we bought it, still goes back to it. We love that it has a long lasting squeaker and that it is textured. Sometimes our dog will even ask us to throw this toy in the backyard over her usual toy.

Just not at all what I expected. It was supposed to be large but fits in the palm of your hand. Ridiculously overpriced and once destroyed you are left with a crappy toy in the middle. If they cost £5 they would be ok.
