I got this to put on top of my 10 year old mattress that is not to comfy anymore. This pad is thick but not as thick as it looks in the picture. Still it is very comfortable and instead of feeling like I’m on a lumpy mattress I now feel like I’m on a nice featherbed. This really improved the way I sleep at night for the better! Plus my fur babies like it so much I have a hard time getting them off my bed!

This item only fluffed up to about 1 inch thick and flattens out as soon as you lay on it so it doesn’t add much to the comfort. Kind of like laying on a blanket or a thin comforter.
