Wish I had seen this before purchasing, beetles is known to be high in the chemicals that can cause the gel nail allergy, please be aware!

The blooming gel works amazing! This 3 set was a a great value! Real bang for your buck. Was super easy to use and not super thick. No smell and the bottle size is great.

So I tried out this gel base coat, builder gel, and top coat nail polish combo, and I gotta say it’s pretty legit. It lifted a little ay the cuticle so I took off one Star but maybe I can get it to work better with time. The base coat went on smooth and the builder gel gave my nails some serious strength without being too thick. The top coat sealed the deal with a glossy shine that lasted way longer than my usual polish. It has helped my nails grow out and not peel and bend at the ends when they get a little longer. Overall I’m impressed. There’s no smell. And I think the quality is awesome. I just started doing my nails at home and so far I really trust the beetles brand and getting alot of supplies for a good price is what you need when just starting. The bottles haven’t leaked I like the shape of the brushes and also I remove with acetone and just buff down some and soak off and I think it’s easy to remove.

I absolutely love the beetles gel polishes. Just like everyone else, this economy is killing me. I want nice looking nails, but I just can’t afford to get may nails done anymore. This product gives salon quality nails for pennys on the dollar. Because I have thin nails, the builder nail gel is a game changer for me. The bottles are full size, and the product is super easy to apply. For any color I apply, I do 1 coat of base coat, 1 coat of builder, 2 (to 4) coats of polish and then 1 coat of top coat, curing 60 to 90 seconds between coats under a LED nail light. My finger nails usually last 2 weeks and toes about a month.

Couple of tips… make sure your cuticles are completely pushed back, if the gel builds up around the cuticles they will lift from the back when growing out and you will be tempted to pick at them. Be patient and apply very thin coats, being careful to not allow the polish to build up around the edges of the nails. If this happens they won’t last a week. Because application on yourself can be tricky, especially with your non dominant hand, I purchased the wooden cuticle sticks to use to scrape polish out of the corners of my nails if I apply too much, and also the beetles brushes to clean up with acetone. Just remember you have to fix any boo boos before curing, or you’re living with it.

The key to longevity with this product lies 100% in application and avoiding the edges of the nails and cuticles. So again for the people in the back, SUPER THIN COATS making sure to not go right to the edge of the nail because the product spreads, and take your time!!! I find that having a bright light and using magnifying glasses really helps as my final tip.

The color in the picture is one of the jelly colors. For reference I did 2 coats on my nails for more sheer coverage, and 4 on my toes for more pigmentation. I only use the builder gel on my finger nails. Just remember if you order these, there is a learning curve and every time you do them they get faster and better. If you’re willing to invest the time, trust me and buy the product! You won’t be disappointed!

This is a great value for the money. I was paying to have the same product on my nails at the salon. Goes on smooth. The protein is thick and build good. Too gloss has a great shine.

Works great. Beautiful finish for the most part. After a while the top coat would separate and “web” if I didn’t cure quickly. Has a pleasant scent. Love the builder! I have flat wide nails so the builder really helps give my nails a nice “bubble” / curved-like look. Would definitely purchase again.
