Jose L. Valverde –
I found these reeds easy to work with. I got great response and very good tone in improving my different style of sounds on my saxophones. Great product for the price.
MBReview –
These reeds provide a great response and a rich tone. They give me great control over the dynamic range on all registers of the horn. I’ve found them to be highly reliable.
Joseph Whaley –
Ok, really. How can this be a bad reed with Jay risking his stellar reputation? With all the great reed options already available I believe this deserves a look. I will try the 2.5 alto reeds. Been using modified Vandoren 3’s with my hard rubber mouthpiece. I’ll gladly try a 2.5 from Better Sax.
The app forced me to give a rating! Please know that I haven’t received the reeds yet but I just couldn’t give a so so rating. That wouldn’t be fair, so I gave a 5.
Athelstan –
While the quality of the reed was good, producing the quality sound expected the lack of individual packaging for each reed was a concern; protection of the reed and hygiene.
L. Roberts –
So far so good. They do what their are supposed to.
Jorge –
Es una caña versátil muy buena para sonidos altos
Joe Caraballo –
I found this reeds too fragile, they should be handled carefully.
Charles Orena –
Quality of cane generally pretty good.
The design of the reed itself is very good. On the brighter side which is not a problem for me. Use them on a 1934 Selmer “Balanced Action” alto sax. Pretty good price.
