It’s made well but not easy to put collar in or take it out but that’s not really a big deal.

I love the collar, and with the help of loud bells I’m hoping the birds are going to see and hear the cat before he sees the birds. The cat has no issues with wearing the collar, and he can also groom with it on. I’m definitely going to order another to have as backup.

Its really tough when my beloved cats kill a bird. Wildcare, our local wild animal hospital and rehab recommended this product. I purchased a couple elastic cat collars to use with these BirdsBeSafe collar covers in February. It’s Labor Day weekend now and the cats haven’t caught a single bird all summer!
I hand washed the collar covers once when they started looking dull to be sure the birds wouldn’t miss them. The light reflecting trim helps see the cats in the dark, an added bonus. I am so grateful this product exists! Every indoor/outdoor cat should have one!

My cat is a hunter, and I don’t want him to get a hold of the birds and other litter animals.
I read the reviews on these collars and decided to try them out. I bought one at first to see if it really did help. Let me tell you, it worked so much better than I thought, everyone called him clown cat, but it was worth it.
It went from him catching 3 birds in one week to only 1 in the next 6 months, couldn’t have asked for anything better.
I highly recommend these collars if your cat is a hunter as they do work, might make you cat look funny, but so worth it.

We live in Florida where there are a lot of lizards in our back yard. This collar does not keep our male cat from catching them and bringing them to us. It does not interfere with his ability to still catch them. All it does it make him look like a court jester! Oh well, it was worth the try. On to plan B. Sorry.

Feels better taking our cats out in yard. This collar slips on breakaway collar so easy, love that it’s refective too. It’s comfortable and cats don’t mind it at all. The little ground birds see these colors right away. I’ll get other colors too.

I loved this collar. It was like putting my cat in high fashion with a purpose. Before the collar, my cat was bringing birds inside through her cat flap every few days. After the collar she didn’t bring any in for several weeks. Then it was every few weeks that she would still get one, because my cat is an amazing and very adaptive hunter. But it did cut back on frequency!
Unfortunately, she did eventually lose the collar due to the breakaway band I had it on, and I was super disappointed. But I would buy this item again.
