We love our blink cameras! My husband and I have used this brand for about 5 months and before that my parents had been using them for about 2 years. The batteries do die fairly quickly if you live in a high traffic area or leave them on high alert and armed for long periods of time – but the quality and sound of them is awesome. Highly recommend these.

I love these. I have got them for myself, my mother and my grandparents. They have good enough image quality and night vision to see anything. The pick up movement depending on your settings and I love that it’s adjustable based on how close/far I want them alerting me. They are easy to use and set up. I bought all of ours on prime days or sales of some sort so I feel like I got them on great deals and the value for money was a big plus.
Advertising that battery life is 2 years feels a little like false advertisement. Maybe the battery life lasts two years if you have it somewhere nobody ever goes and it never gets set off but we definitely have to replace batteries relatively often.

I really like my blink cameras so much so that I have bought different combination bundles of them. They just work great and I also find that ten bucks a month for cloud storage for unlimited devices is reasonable. I just wish the batteries last longer than 4 months.

Convenient to set up for sure, however I have a few cons that outweigh the pros. Here’s what I got this past year.
Pros:
• Set and Forget
• Saves and deletes (after 3 days adjustable) Clips
• Betteries are Lithium Ion AA batteries with an estimated 2 year battery life
Cons:
• Cameras will not internally record if the power gets cut / if Wifi is interrupted. I was unable to capture a fella crashing into my telephone pole and truck.
• You must have the Blink Sync Device for cameras to do their thing.
• Cameras will record events after they’ve captured motion, but sometimes it’s after the event happened. In my case it captured snapshots, but no video and no culprit.
• Quality of the video is alright, but the sound recording is awful, and plays a constant high pitch air sound regardless of weather.
If I could go back and have a hardwire system installed by another brand and company, then I’d definitely suggest that route instead. BUT if you are on a budget with a lot going on in life, then this system will probably do the trick for you. Just don’t put tooo much faith in it like I did. Overall I’m not upset with the system. I just can’t recommend it.
