Overall it works fine. Only issues are:
1) no handles on basket to lift it up and move the shredder. The basket is flimsy, making lifting and moving difficult.
2) the basket length and width are larger than a standard paper bag. This makes it hard to empty the basket for recycling.

I AM WORRIED THAT IT WONT LAST. I JUST EMPTIED IT FOR THE FIRST TIME, AND NOW IT IS STARTING TO SQUEEK AND MAKE NOISES AND SLOW DOWN. i CONTACTED AMAZON AND THE MANUFACTURER, YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO OIL IT, BUT THE OIL IS NOT LISTED FOR SALE, AND AMAZON DOES NOT MENTION IT NOR DO THEY KNOW WHAT IT IS, AND THEY WILL NOT HONOR THE WARRANTY, SAID THEY WILL CHARGE ME $23.00 TO TAKE THE PRODUCT BACK, THE WARRANTY EXPIRED AFTER ONLY 30 DAYS, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS AMAZON’S FAULT OF NOT DISCLOSING THE TRUTH. I AM REPORTING THEM TO BBB. I ALREADY TALKED TO AMAZON CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY DO NOT CARE.

QUALITY! It is true, you get what you pay for. This is well worth the cost and more, is an excellent heavy duty with lots of features. 10 year waranty tells the full stry. No one guarantees a product that long without KNOWING it will LAST that long!
We had TONS of papers to be shredded when we got this and overheated it.. warning light tells you to STOP and let it rest. Hubby shredded something (plastic? ) In it and jammed it up TiGHTLY!
CUSTOMER SERIVE is AMAZING! Even on Sunday afternoon.. A cheerful, friendly very helpful understanding woman ( Kiersten – ASK for her!) was very patient with this old woman (81) and carefully and completely explained all the steps needed to successfully ( less than an hour after we hung up) un-jam this shredder and have it working beautifully again. Go to Custmer Support if you have ANY questions.
Buy this shredder as the BEST office or home gift for any family or friend. They will LOVE you for it

Works as described; you can shred a nice amount of paper at one time and it does shred one credit card at a time nicely. It was a little loud but nothing intolerable.

Pieces are very small. It made light work of a mass of documents. Love the handle to lift the shredder off the base to empty, easy to use. Recommend..

I purchased this paper shredder to shred junk mail and other papers with sensitive information. I noticed it was easier to shred paper after removing it from the envelopes. At one point it stopped and had to cool down which is understandable. I had a large amount of junk mail that had accumulated for months. No issues with it jamming. I was careful to only feed about 5-6 papers at a time. Anyway overall I am pleased with this product and I would recommend it for home use.

I used to take everything to shred and recently got charged for weight only to find I had to stand and tear all the pages out. Ran across this and was cheaper long term. I read reviews of it being slow and heating to shut off. I have not had one issue and I shredded 5 years of tax returns that were well beyond their time. I think this was the best money I have spent and it is great for up to five pages. Handled staples and envelopes with the plastic window with ease. Just take your time and don’t over feed it. It is loud but doesn’t bother me at all.

Does a great job, small pieces. It is noisy but is expected. Highly recommend for secure shredding.

Very good quality shredder well-built. Unlike some reviews, no it is not loud, no heating problems, no jamming problems and it does the job it was designed to do unless you abuse it. But some people never read the instructions. This shredder replaced a 23-year-old shredder that shredded over several thousand files with no problems if you only know how to use it and not abuse it. Note, each file held 10-30 sheets of 8-1/2” x 11” paper.
