This is a real 1500W power supply! I tried other brand they all failed to drive my winch, but this one worked!

Great quality, variable voltage DC power supply. Minimal heat, minimal noise, goof contact connectors, accurate power attenuation and delivery. Very pleased so far with these units being used for zoned LED lights in a basement ceiling. Highly recommended so far!

Only run these power supplies at half the rated power and you should be good. I put a resistor in line with the fan to quiet it down as it runs constantly.

I would buy again for same purpose. However, buyers need to be aware that the case does not seem to be properly grounded which caused a problem on my 3d printer. It was easily resolved by electrically isolating the case from the frame of the printer though. The symptom I observed was that upon power-up everything seemed to work fine. However, upon starting a print job or starting the heating element, the display screen would go wild and show all kinds of crazy images/characters. After electrically isolating the case mounting points from the frame of the printer, everything has been working fine. No harm done in my situation as best I can tell so far and a great low cost solution for the purpose.

Very well packaged. I have purchased a lot of 12 volt models. This one was amazing. Would have given 6 stars if it would have allowed.

I have used 4 of these so far. I am installing them as the core the SMPS in radio power supplies I have designed. I have added control switches and full volt / amp displays with additional common mode filtering and high current aircraft rated power connections. The only internal components I swapped was the cooling fans which I thought were a little loud especially when having 4 units on at the same time. The quiet fans I installed fit well and are very quiet. With all the modifications, switches, displays and project case, the total project cost was less than 50% of the expense for stand-alone low noise power supplies for radio equipment. My test spec for ripple and common mode noise was lees than name brand power supplies. I am very pleased how these worked out.
