The unit works well. I like the way it works and the two cuffs it comes with. Small and large. The unit does have a design flaw. The battery door does not snap tightly in place. I have had it pop off just taking it from the carry case. The batteries fall out and then the unit looses all the information. So you’re back to setting up the unit again. I have resolved the flaw with scotch tape. Hopefully this is a good solution.

I’ve been using BP cuffs for 35 years, and all of them have been the most popular brand(s) at the time. I replaced an 6 year old unit I had been using with the Braun, and so far the Braun is giving me more consistent readings. I think it gets the diastolic number more accurately by the way it takes that measurement first, then continues on to get the systolic pressure. I noticed that the pump slows down when it gets to about 50 – 60 mm and slowly adds pressure. I have a resting pulse rate in the high 50s, and by adding pressure slowly it seems to get more chances to get an accurate number on the diastolic pressure. That’s the reading that is usually inconsistent. The 2 cuffs let me pick the one that fits best, putting it on is pretty easy, and I think the size match helps with the accuracy as well. I’ve been using it for 4 or 5 days… so far, so good.

My doctor wants me to check my blood pressure twice a day on both my right arm and my left arm.
Braun ExactFit 3 Blood Pressure Monitor is only for the left arm. If you use the left arm cuff on the right arm, it does not provide an accurate reading on the right arm BP.

I tried and rejected three other monitors before I found this one. It is well-made, easy to use and accurate. It gives approximately the same numbers as the mechanism that your doctor uses to measure your blood pressure.

It’s designed well. For the most part it’s pretty easy to use. Some of the initial set up for multiple patients can be a little bit confusing at first. All in all, however, it’s pretty great. It’s nice and compact, does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Definitely one of the values on the market the price. I can’t really speak to the battery life right now because I haven’t had it very long.

A very good product! I was pleased with its accuracy compared with my doctor’s BP machine. Also it is handy that it has two sized arm bands. The directions are easy to understand.
One minor concern is that it doesn’t have a power cord, relying on changing batteries.
