Discover-It! –
Getting a tie that can hold up on guys that are 6’4 or so and taller is hard – especially if you’re a bit sloppy at tying knots. A half windsor in my experience tends to shorten the tie quite a bit, so normal length ties always look to short on me. This tie came really well packaged and feels pretty premium. The color looks great in person and I’d overall recommend it. Does it compare to an italian wool tie? Not really, but for 99% of use cases and workwear this tie will work well.

The feel in texture and weight of the fabric used to manufacture this tie is outstanding.
There is a slight sheen to it but it is veeery slight, which makes it look classy without flashy, it’s that hard balance that makes things look more expensive than what they actually are.
It is soft to the touch, albeit irrelevant for a tie, it is relevant on how well it’ll sit while storing it without developing creases.
Calvin Klein has changed a lot through the years, some good and some bad, but i love this tie and i’ve received compliment, it’s not the cheapest one out there, but feels and looks more expensive than what it actually is, recommended!

This tie is made from a silk/polyester blend, which saves on cost, but has a slightly less “silky” (excuse the pun) feel than my other ties that are pure silk. The 3.5 in. width is a more traditional look, but as ties are worn less and less in business, the traditional look is more appropriate for where they are still worn. I have the XL size, which turned out to be about 3-4 in. longer than my standard size ties. For me, the XL was a better fit as I have put on some weight over the years and my neck size has grown. The color is classified as a navy solid, but it has small white dots stippled in, which gives it a better look, in my opinion.
