Daisy Flower –
My birb (house sparrow) loves eating mealworms. She definitely prefers live beetles and worms, but she didn’t seem to hesitate on eating this as well. She nearly finished it, and it’s only been like 2-3 weeks. And I like it because it has no bad odor that may discomfort me.

Bearded dragon seems to love these
Melissa –
My bearded dragon loves these! He gets very excited when he sees me bring over the container. There is a lot here and will last quite a long time. I’m knocking off a point because the container is thin and flimsy. It came open during transit and spilled out in the shipping bag. About a 1/5 of the worms were crushed and turned to dust. Loki didn’t mind though and ate them anyways.

The container looks just like the pictures, including spelling reptile as “repitile” and saying “100% nature” instead of natural. The container is flimsy and mine arrived with the safety seal completely open, and I took off a star for this reason. The mealworms smelled fresh though and my bearded dragon will eat these when I don’t have live mealworms available.
Just be warned: there are dead adult “mealworm beetles” and pupae included in the container. Since I have live mealworms I’m familiar with their life stages so I wasn’t concerned to see something besides mealworms. If you’ve never seen them before it might concern you but the beetles and pupae are still edible. This is the first time I’ve seen them in a dry mealworm container though, which is why I took off a star.

I’m feeding these to my chickens and they love them. Now they all come running when they see me coming! I have fed black soldier fly larvae to my chickens as well, but those have a strong odor. These mealworms don’t have a bad smell at all.

I actually got these mealworms for the birds that like to visit my feeders all year. While they do tend to like the birdseed and suet that I put in the feeders, mealworms really get them excited. These have been working great so far. There has been a flurry of activity since I started putting these in one of the tube feeders. I alternate a little bit of the mealworms with a little bit of seeds all the way down the tube, and it really seems to make a difference in how many birds visit as well as how frequently.
While this isn’t a huge container, it will last me a long while for the birds with alternating levels of mealworms and seeds. And, if you are using these for your reptile, they are bound to last even longer. They are whole and easy to deal with.

These dried mealworms appear to be as good as any. Everything about them is done well. They are what I’d call a medium size. They’re whole and not broken into bits and pieces. I really have no problem with the mealworms themselves. However, my water turtle apparently does. He eventually ate the first one because he eats everything. But, he wasn’t happy about it. I’m hoping he’ll grow to like them more.

I got these for my bearded dragon, and he’s a fan! The container is slightly more flimsy than I’d prefer especially with these particular contents inside, but so far so good. I appreciate that these mealworms are 100% natural, giving my beardie a diet packed with protein. These are definitely my preferred form of feed; I don’t quite have the stable constitution one needs for handling and watching the death of ‘live feed.’ Great for fellow reptile and small pet owners as this dried form of mealworms works for turtles, lizards, ducks, and more.
