This is the most classic and durable watch I have ever had. They last for a long time and are great value for what you pay! Super light weight and not too bulky on small wrists. Functions perfectly as a watch, timer, or alarm.

I really don’t like wearing watches but I have purchased a few variation of this Casio watch for at least 25 years. They are very inexpensive, extremely reliable, durable and simple to set and use. I can’t remember ever having one actually run out of battery power. Usually, after 3 or 4 years I either lose them or the band wears out so I get another.
The functions are simple: A clock, a stopwatch, and the date. What else do you really need unless you are navigating the high seas? There is also a light, excuse me, “Illuminator,” which allows you to read the watch at night with no problem and the alarm is loud enough to wake you if you are not a heavy sleeper.
It is water resistant and mine have always stood up to any outdoor activity I have subjected it to including hiking, camping, and backpacking. It’s weight and durability are especially great for hikers.
As I mentioned earlier, I tend to lose watches. I lost one of these during a move and several years later was cleaning the attic when I heard the alarm go off as it had daily for all those years. It stopped before I could find it, but I noted the time and several days later was able to dig it out. It worked fine and I’m wearing it right now. At least I think I am. I actually bought another to replace the lost one and they both have continued working for many years, so long I don’t even remember which watch is which.
My daughter was hired to be a counselor at a summer camp and she needed a reliable watch. Naturally, I purchased the women’s version of the watch (the actual one being reviewed here) and when she returned she was convinced that it was the best watch she ever used. She also realized you can’t go wrong with cheap and reliable. That’s my girl.
How many generations will this go on? I don’t know but I do know I will be buried with mine. It amuses to think how many people may stop and pause at my grave when that little alarm goes off dutifully at 1:20 pm every day. I’ll make sure I have a fairly new one so it will last many years because I’m pretty sure I won’t be using the light or any other functions which would normally wear the battery down.

It’s so hard to find a watch that will fit on me, but this one fits great. It’s Slim. Doesn’t snag on anything. Tiny. Great for women. Great for small women. Has all you need in a watch. Brightness is fine. Glows orange when you hold down on the “Light ➡️” button. Readability is fine. Quality is not fancy, but great for someone who likes the outdoors. This is worth half its price.

After purchasing a few watches marketed for kids, I finally found this one and am very happy with the purchase for my 9 year old. The watch faces on the “kid” watches were so enormous they took up my son’s entire wrist. Although this one is marketed for women, the band is fully adjustable (there are holes the whole length of the band), so it fits a child’s wrist well. The band is bendy and comfortable, and as it’s a Casio, I’m hoping it will prove to be reliable for a long time. I can’t speak to its longevity yet, as we just got it in the mail. But if you’ve been looking for a no-frills kids’ watch, consider this one!

I got this for my 6 year old kid as he loves Casio watches . Most Casio watches don’t fit well on his wrist , but this one fits like a glove. He absolutely loved it. Also , the water resistance and low cost makes it a great option as a kid’s watch. If you are looking for a kid’s watch , please avoid the cheap Chinese knockoffs on amazon . Those won’t last more than a few days. This one is a better brand with a huge fan following & great quality. Your child will appreciate it 👍
