Watched a YouTube reviewer who said this box was 2nd best to a stainless steel one for half the price.
I was shocked at the size of this litterbox! It is massive! I am fostering a mamacat and her 4 kittens and needed something a little larger than the standard size. This box took a full 40 lb plastic container of litter! Mama is a heavy digger and she loves it! The litter was all over the floor before and was a hassle to clean up every time she used the box. The lip of this box is genius! No litter around the box! Amazing! The box is super easy to clean because of the open air design. I haven’t had any issues with sticking but I am thinking a scoop that has no sharp edges might be the next purchase. It came assembled and all I had to do was fill it. No problem for the little felines to transition to this box with the assistance of a step (this cat box is huge!!! I LOVE this cat box so much I ordered one for my sweet indoor kitty! Well worth the price.

Don’t let this one pass you by. If your cat likes open boxes, this is the one!!! High sides, higher front, very excellent size and my older cat (15) can actually fit in it without the poop falling on the floor. No litter scattered all over when they dig and bury. Sturdy, and a good price. Packaging was good and delivery was very fast. Get it! Your cats will thank you.

I felt the need to update my review. It’s been only a few days since I put the litter box down. There hasn’t been any litter on the outside of the box. This is not the norm with my cats. They both love the box. My older, larger cat especially.

I know some people made review complaints in reference to the plastic being cheap. If that is the case, I will update again.

One review was complaining about the cost. It’s well worth the price!!! She indicated it was $11, increased to $22 and the price it is now. This litter box is much more than $11 or $22 bucks. Hello, it’s 2022 where will you even find a good litter box for that price? The $11 will get you a disposable one.

Perfection! I looked and have not been able to find a large litter box anywhere and was making do with a smaller one. My two cats are both older (male and female, both fixed). They always liked to stick one leg up on the side of the pan but lately they’ve been missing the box every time which is so not acceptable. I was changing and laundering the cat box mat every day practically and having to clean the sides and bottom and under the rim which is just way beyond what I want to do. I ordered this pan based on the size and another reviewer who said that the cat wouldn’t be able to get a leg up on the side which is true. The cats took to this box right away. It’s very roomy. My male cat is big at over 10 pounds and he kind of filled up the previous box when he got inside. He has plenty of room in this box. The front is low enough for the cats to get in and out easily but the pan itself is deep. There really isn’t any way for them to get their leg up on the side of the box. They have not had a single accident since I put it down and there is very little cat litter getting tracked outside the box. I use Target Up&Up scoopable cat litter which comes in a 20-pound jug. It easily holds the entire 20-pound jug of litter. On the plus side, even though it’s big, it’s not so enormous that it doesn’t fit in the same place as the last one. It’s just roomier all the way around. I like that it sort of contains the whole affair without a lid. My cats never took to having a cover over them. The box is also really easy to clean and nothing seems to stick to it so far. It’s hard to tell from the picture but the low place where the cats go into the box is sort of a tabbed lip and when you’re scooping the box, the bag tucks under the front lip pretty easily and stays open while you’re scooping which is brilliant! I think the tab also discourages them from trying to put their leg up on that area although even that is really too high from them to accomplish it. It’s a little hard to tell also from the picture but the back of the box is much higher than the front and the sides taper up. I imagine the cats feel like they’re in an enclosure and it also prevents them from making a mess out the back side of the box. The color is neutral and looks pretty close to the picture. I will definitely will keep using this box.

I use *very* lightweight litter (primarily grass seed with clumping pine mixed in to reduce odors), and have struggled with it getting everywhere when the cats use a regular flat litter pan. I switched to top-entry boxes, but then my calico refuses to use them when she’s under the weather. These have been the answer. Very high sides, the cats don’t kick much litter out, and with a reliable litter mat, it has kept things tidier. When I got a second one of these, I also got a “litter box bench” to put it inside of, and it’s been great. Still not absolutely perfect, but much easier to clean up, clean around, and ultimately very functional!
