Why!! Why!!!!!!! Everyone’s only complaint is that ridiculous sticker. The image is after using a razor, goo gone and rubbing alcohol. Whyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!! The joke is on me.
The grill is impressive looking. The construction is typical of any name brand grill. It’s just a larger version with more stuff. It should last 10 to 15 years depending on use and care. I bought this because I wanted a grill and griddle. I don’t have room for both. After I ordered this I started to watch internet videos on care and use. I almost considered cancelling the order but it was almost here. My regret is the griddle size. I learned that popular griddle recipes require a larger griddle. Even breakfast is potatoes, eggs, bacon and maybe toast X however many people.
I just seasoned it for the first time. The cooking surface looks ready. I bought an infrared thermometer. I learned that after preheated the temperature varies from 390 to 460 in different spots. I will definitely have to learn to zone cook.
In spite of thus a am excited to try a griddle and it seems like a good grill. The 3 stars is strictly that stupid sticker. I am surprised the manufacturer insists on torturing their clientele.

I really like the infrared grill from Char- Broil. This is not my first infrared grill. I am a repeat customer, but they seem to think not labeling parts is ok, which it would be if every part was obviously different. For example, the back panels are identical except that the top one has inserts. If you don’t notice this, you’ll be disassembling and re-assembling, but there are other issues too like 6 screws that don’t seem to have a place to go. At this point I have gone through all the packing materials looking for the cable that joins the LEDs to the battery box. Like IKEA, there are literally NO INSTRUCTIONS except for drawings. This will be my last charbroil grill. I’m on day two of getting it assembled. Probably will work great, but if you’re going to buy one of these plan on a couple of frustrating days or paying someone to assemble it. This isn’t a bookshelf.

Unbelievably awesome grill and griddle combo. It looks like an art piece to boot. Everyone who sees the grill asks where I got it and obtains grill envy. The one thing I didn’t love are the stickers they put on at the manufacturer. Have tried Goo Gone and Stainless Steel cleaner and outlines are still there. Also, I had Amazon put this together for us (they offered it at no cost) and it might be the best decision I’ve ever made. Two extremely nice guys were here three hours. Probably would have taken me a week. For all of the reasons above I bought from Amazon instead of Charbroil site. The install and delivery were far superior to the slight discount offered direct from Charbroil.

You’ve heard of some assembly required, well this one is ALL Assembly Required. It took me 3 hours to put this thing together. And its a good thing cause it took my wife equally as long to remove the stickers and adhesive from the lids. After it was all said and done, it turns out to be a nice grill but geez… Also it does not like wind blowing in from the back. Repeatedly blows out the flames. I’m gonna have to relocate somewhere out of the direct wind.

Why did Char-Broil put stickers that are not Removable on the top of the grill lids? I just spent five hours assembling my new “Char-Broil Medallion Series 3-in-1 Stainless Steel Outdoor Kitchen” and I CAN NOT USE IT because someone thought is was a great idea to put stickers on the lids DO NOT COME OFF! THIS IS SO STUPID! Goo Gone does nothing, these are vinyl stickers that are cohered to the stainless steel. Tried using a razor blade but doesn’t remove the adhesive. May have to remove a layer of stainless steel with a grinding wheel but I’m concerned it will cause the surface to rust since it’s probably low grade stainless. This SUCKS!
