This gel worked perfect on glass! Had stubborn water spots that wouldn’t come off. I took it to a detailing shop and they wanted to charge me $200 because they needed to “polish” the glass. I ended up trying this gel first and I’m glad I did. It took all of the spots right off! My glass looks new now and it only took about 10 minutes per window. Don’t apply it in direct sunlight though. And work in small areas, I highly recommend it

    A+++++++++++

Used this with a drill mounted scrubbing pad and the very hard water stains came off. You can see the test spot on the door. One important thing is to have good ventilation while using it. Followed the directions and came out great. Recommend you do from bottom up and use the product then clean with soapy water.

My car had some calcium deposits on the bonnet and fender caused by a water leak from a concrete ceiling. This product removed these without any fuss. I like the way it works because the meguiars alternative was more of a polish and I wanted to use the least aggressive method possible. The CG product is exactly that, the least aggressive way to remove hard water stains.

I’m frankly surprised this stuff works as well as it does. It took a good deal of elbow grease, but I’m taking it a few square feet at a time. Eventually, I was able to completely remove the hard water spots and embedded dirt from parking next to the sprinklers for a few months.

I do suggest being careful to not leave it on for too long (and neutralize it with soapy wooder.) I also noticed some very light orange stains that I eventually removed with some sanitizing wipes.

Still, it’s infinitely better than it was, and worked equally well on the car’s paint, hubcaps, and windows/mirrors. I think I’m be able to finish the one side of the car that has the spots with a single bottle, but I’d but this product again if we’re stupid enough to park by the sprinklers again.

(Attached pictures show the type of water spots and dirt I was dealing with, a partially cleaned door, small section of cleaned hubcap, and a fully cleaned door. I’ve obviously got a lot more work to do, but I don’t think it’d be possible without a product like this.)

I challenge anybody who finds the water spot removal inefficient .
My Ford Ranger have had water spot for more than 10 years , one single application all water sport ( on the paint and window classes ) have gone , the car paint looks clear and very dark .

Well done chemical guys , great product .

It will remove water stains. However, it is like putting honey on your car and trying to wipe it off. Very hard to remove the residue. I tried thinning it down with water to make it easier to work with but it wasn’t as effective. I found most common car detailing sprays. like Griots Gargage Best In Show Detailer works as well and is much easier to work with.

I had terrible hard water stains on my windshield. I tried a couple of things before I bought this. This product finally did the job. I’m very pleased with how well it worked. It was easy to use. You only need to apply a small amount.

I have to say my shower door looks better but it didn’t remove all the hard water drops. We tried using it two different ways – the bottle
Directions and a YouTube suggestion. Both worked about the same. It does seem to protect the glass – water runs off more. The size is worth the money but was just hoping for a completely clear glass.

Lots and lots of work. Doesn’t work so easy on reclaimed water spots which is what I was looking for. It’s a lot of work
