I am very pleased with this collection, which includes some lovely pieces I have not encountered before despite having a lot of classical guitar books. The arrangements are well laid out with notation and tab, and should be well within the range of the intermediate guitarists. Beginners may find some of the pieces manageable as well. I credit this collection with my introduction to Johann Anton Logy, of whom several fine pieces are included here.

This book has a great selection of pieces, and since it has both tabs and notation in it anyone can enjoy it. However, because it’s not spiral bound, it is troublesome to keep the book open while you practice with it; it tries to close on its own if you don’t put something on the pages to force it open. If they made a spiral-bound version of this I would give it 5 stars.
