I run zerex green in most of my fleet. 1994 f150, 1995 bronco, n 2001 ranger. 50/50 mix does perfect in nebraska winters. Zerex never foams up like other brands either.

Falsely listed paid more for something that should have been way cheaper

I have a whole bunch of old cars…all call for good old green, conventional. Over the years, the “universals” have added 2EH to the recipe, and I have seen, mine own eyes, radiators filled solid with sludge. I had a friend’s 2001 Impala block up the overflow hose (radiator to reservoir), and there was no place for the pressure to relieve. Result, one of the heater hose spring clamps was the failure point to relieve pressure. Did this a few time until there was insufficient coolant, and it overheated. All because the sludge completely blocked the radiator overflow hose. Was it due to 2EH or lack of maintenance? We never heard of such stories in the 70’s and 80’s when there was only 1 coolant…green, with silicates.
Anyway, I run a 1994 Cummins Diesel with 500K miles, and it has only had Zerex Green. Changed every 2 years. Never had any issue with radiators, heater cores, or anything, other than water pumps every 225K or so miles. My other cars, with brass radiators and yellow metals, all get Zerex Green. Asian imports in my fleet get Peak Global Lifetime.
