Coleman 316 Series Insulated Wheeled Cooler, 100+ Can Capacity

I have 2 of these, one for work and one for personal use. It is lightweight, easy to roll (nice big wheels), very sturdy and doesn’t leak. Keeps cold really well, even in Texas heat!

Took ours camping, had us and 3 kids opening and closing it all week- ice still frozen by the end of the trip. Brought the cooler home didn’t get to unpack it until 2 days after the trip, opened it up and found a beer- coors with the mountains still blue. So for a total of 6 days outside in the heat (high was 89) it was still ice cold. Best money I’ve ever spent on a cooler. The lid doesn’t stick and the wheels make it so easy to tote around. We filled ours up to the top, fit 8 phillys, a pack of hot dogs, a pack of sausages, water, frozen water bottles, a total of 32 beers, chocolate bars(that didn’t melt), 12 breakfast burritos, a pack of ham and a pack of bologna. Compact but it hold a lot. 10 out of 10.

This cooler is rugged, has two nice handles and large wheels for rolling it, and side handles to pick it up. Has drink cup holders on top, large capacity. I ordered this to help transport and keep foods frozen and cold for an 80th and 90th birthday event, here in summer hot beach area of Delaware. I was shocked when I opened it hours and hours later and the champagne bottles, water bottles were chilled and the opened ice bag was intact! Great price too!

I used this cooler on a camping trip in middle of the hottest part of summer. It was in the shade 100% of the trip since I was pretty deep in the forest. It lasted over the weekend no problem but I kept ice in it when I got home and left it outside to test the “5 day” claim. Surprisingly, there was still a tiny bit of ice in there on day 3 but, by day four, all of the ice was completely gone. So, maybe the 5 day claim is assuming you don’t ever open the cooler? I don’t know, but it sure didn’t last 5 days, nor even 4. Either way, I can’t really complain and it worked well for our two day camping trip. The handles and wheels held up really well, even when lugging this thing (fully loaded) down a steep trail path to get to the campsite deep in the forest. I think the smaller handles would probably break after a couple more trips like this, since I did notice some heavy bending at the mounting points. I was actually surprised that the large handle didn’t break on the first use going down this rugged trail but, it came close. When fully loaded, the cooler is HEAVY and the tension hits right where the handle mounts. I kept an eye on those points while lugging it up and down the hill that the path lay on and it came really close to popping out, or breaking, but didn’t! Hopefully the cooler lasts a few more trips like this but, I got my money’s worth I think. Thanks Coleman!
