    Excellent sleeping bag.
I’m not overly tall but wanted a sleeping bag that is roomy enough to feel like a regular bed. This one is perfect. The flannelette lining is super cosy and i can pull it up over my head without my feet getting all cramped. Highly recommended for anyone who doesnt need a compact sleeping bag

Worth every penny!! Super warm and really big. (I’m 6’4 guy and I’ve never found a sleeping bag big enough for me until now!!) High quality material and soft. What are you waiting for this is the one you want.

I used Coleman sleeping bags when I was growing up, but in my early twenties I got detracted by all the trendy ultralight synthetic, leg cramping, mummy style backpacking bags with funny names like my North Face Cat’s Meow, you know, the ones that came in bright colors and had exorbitant price tags. But… now that I am old and wise I wanted a bigger bag that would keep me warm, wouldn’t slide off my sleeping pad or down to the foot of my hammock, nor break the bank to purchase. So after some serious research I found this Coleman Heritage Big and Tall bag and I am well pleased. It’s well made with good materials and excellent stitching. It’s also thick, fluffy and soft inside, warm, and BIG! Plenty of room to stretch out and move around. I’ve seen reviewers stating their bags were not the size advertised. I measured mine right out of the box and it is 81 inches long and 38.50 inches wide. But it is growing as the loft fluffs out after being released from its small shipping box. BTW, like many of the higher priced sleeping bags, Coleman abides by EN/ISO testing protocols to temperature-rate their bags, which is a high standard for all sleeping bags. I must say, this is not a backpacker’s sleeping bag, yes, it’s a bit heavy, but it is far too large to carry on your back. I’ll be using a thin sleeping bag liner to avoid the need to wash it in a commercial washer and dryer too often. I’ll be using this one for my truck camping here in the Missouri Ozarks.

I’m a BIG guy, and though this is not meant for back packing, we had a trailer pulled behind my motorcycle and we camped. It was very good as a single person bag AND ALSO when we opened it completely it served as a very warm blanket for the both of us. My Wife and I Stopped at campgrounds and this was often over us as we laid on cots pressed together on some really cold nights. Another, less warm bag was under us, this one over. But even zipped up, I was not cramped or confined. I’m a very large build 6′ tall and about 300lbs. Someone smaller and lighter might find it huge, but for me it was quite comfortable. It has held up well and still gets occasional use.

    The fit:
This bag is HUGE! I have always had trouble fitting into regularly sized bags, they’re often too short leaving my upper chest out, and there isn’t much room to move around. In this, I (6’1) can fit inside easily with room to spare down by my feet, and there’s enough room to stretch out a bit.

    Warmth/comfort:
The material isn’t as soft as it looks in the picture, as many mention it’s not 100% cotton. Personally, I really like the way it feels, it’s a great combo of soft and durable. I’m very satisfied with the comfort level. As for warmth, I haven’t taken it into extremely cold weather yet, but it feels like it’ll do the job. I’d say the 0-20 rating is probably accurate. The material around you is very thick.

    For camping:
Obviously, with it’s size this guy is heavy and uses a lot of space. Rolling it up is a bit challenging, I’m mildly concerned about the strings holding up to the tension you put on them to roll the bag up (roll it as tight as you can). This would be ideal for camping trips where you aren’t sleeping far from your car, there aren’t any nice straps to “wear” the bag, so you’ll be carrying it wherever you need it.

    Value:
Honestly I think it could be less expensive, but only by a bit. Overall, if you’re a large person and want to be comfortable camping you probably won’t regret the money spent. I’m happy with the purchase overall.

Used it camping last month. I loved it. Was comfortable and warm. I’m 5, 7″ and 230lb and it fit with plenty of room to spare. It’s thick, and I did fear being a bit too warm in it. But that was not the case. The temperature when I camped went down to 40F and I didn’t feel the need to zip up. I wore long sweats and a Tshirt to sleep. I anticipated needing to get up in the middle of the night to go to the restroom, so I dressed with that in mind in going to sleep. Mainly cuz it’s so big and I didn’t feel cold air come under the top. Had the temp gone down to 30F, I probably would have zipped up. The bag is definitely long enough and could easily fit someone 6’5″ and someone who is at least 75lb bigger than me.
It breathed well and I was not too warm. it’s big and is NOT a backpacking bag. It’s only for car camping or home use. The product is well made and the zipper is strong and holds up well and it easy to get to inside and outside of the bag once you’re in it. I tested it by sleeping in it on my bed the day I got it and the flannel feeling inner liner felt comfortable. It feels like a warm hug is the best way to describe it. The con on this product is it doesn’t come with a protection bag to store it in. There’s a strong string to keep it together once you roll it up, but that’s it. Why skimp on that Colemn?

The sleeping bag is very comfortable. Love the zipper! Definitely keeps you warm. The sleeping bag is also big enough for my 6 foot three husband.
