This Comfytemp Light Therapy is great. It’s convenient and very easy to use. I love that it’s cordless so I can use it without having to be tied to an outlet. The battery is actually attached to the boot itself, and I love that this is perfect for using on my feet – one at a time of course. The controller is easy to read and can be used with an app if you desire. I like red light therapy and this Comfytemp device is one of the better ones that I have used. I definitely recommend it!

This Red light therapy device for foot aches and inflammation is really nice and easy to use. It arrived in a well labeled and shrink wrapped box that would be great for either personal use or gifting, and for storage of the device when not in use. The first charge took about 3 hours, and then I took it for a spin.
At $89.99 at the time of this review, I expected this to be a pretty nice unit – and it did not disappoint. It has 72 LED beads (each with 660/850nm) situated throughout the foot and ankle area, 9 power levels, 4 modes, an App that will connect to the device via Bluetooth (although it was so easy to operate with the control I didn’t bother), and the neoprene fabric footbed is comfortable and has plenty of adjustability to accommodate a variety of foot sizes. The Velcro enclosures make putting this on a snap. Being cordless allows it to be used anywhere.
I’ve only used this twice so far, but my feet feel warm and tingly after use, and I do believe this device is effective. I would recommend this product to anyone with chronic foot pain or inflammation.

This is a grand brand and I have about 10+ of their red light therapy and heating pad items. It’s my favorite brand so far as their regular red light pads have been the best and most sophisticated yet.
For this one, it’s dedicated to the foot. The con about it is that it’s so dedicated, you’re better off just picking one of the pads in my opinion. The pads can work ANYWHERE, and they can wrap around. This one is a bit too focused unless you’re very into specifically using it on the foot.
Because the market is flooded in red light therapy, this adds an app that isn’t really needed as controls on it, that would be good but because of the size, an app might actually be better.
I’d say only pick this one IF it’s a localized area you want to focus on. It’s 10/10 in that area but not as useful to use elsewhere on other parts of the body.

I have no idea how helpful it will be for my feet because I’ve just used it a couple times. I can only share with you my experience. First, I downloaded the App “Comfytemp” from the app store. After you enter your email, it will send you a code to activate your account. Then by using the app, you can adjust and control the type of therapy and the level of heat it will generate. So far, easy to download and the register and to adjust and control all functions via the app. After it starts, your feet will feel the warmth, a little strange stimulating feeling but still comfortable. The default time is 20 minutes and it will shut off when the time is up. I can feel the heat (I use mode 1, level 5 and there are 4 modes and 9 levels, the bigger the number the hotter it will feel) penetrating my feet and stimulate the blood flow (I don’t know how to describe the feeling, but it’s more than just heat, there seems to be some micro-vibration beneath the skin too). So, with heat and stimulation, I can only figure that it helps with my feet’s blood flow and the stimulation can generate some benefits for my foot’s health and healing but I have healthy feet to begin with, so I don’t know about how effective the healing effect could be for someone with pain. I can only imagine it will help just like heat plus massage will help with healing in other parts of the body. If you need some relief from pain or to seek faster healing for your feet, just try it, it might help. I like using it so Highly Recommend this easy to set up, to use and very comfortable during therapy device.

I’m impressed with this boot which combines a powerful LED source into something flexible enough to conform to my skin. The options to select combinations of red/near IF and pulse functions are helpful. I contacted the company to obtain data on power densities for the various levels of use and they were incredibly helpful in supplying the information I requested. For me, 10 minutes on level 5 (mode 1) is falling within a perfect range of exposure (approx 50J) and is exactly what I’m looking for. This means that I can also treat both feet within 20 minutes, so I’m more apt to use it regularly when set to a 10 minute cycle.
Having a portable treatment for feet is very helpful for an athlete coming off of a trail, while hiking, etc. The boot is comfortable to wear and feels durable; it also doubles as a knee treatment when turned upside down with knee bent at 90 degrees. I wish the sleeve were slightly larger to cover toes (they get cold sticking out and need a sock to cover), and the diameter around the lower leg may not work for a much larger person, but works well for me at 180lbs with excess.
The app is handy and integrates a timer (with options in 5 minute increments). If using without an app, you can program the device with desired mode and level, but there is no timer (I believe it will default to 20 minutes, so you’ll just need to pay attention and turn it off manually if/when needed).
With power densities which fall within studied/supported ranges of effective LED treatment, this a nice device at a competitive price and I can highly recommend it. A big shout-out for excellent customer support as well. Good stuff!

This doesn’t have red light along the bottom of the foot where you act eed it for plantar fascitis. It doesn’t seem to have a proper light layout at all. I was not impressed with the fit either.
