Robert Weil –
I use these on two acoustic guitars and really like the sound. I’ve been playing guitar for over 50 years, and for the price, comfort on the fingers and long life of these strings, I’ve not found a better deal.

コーティング弦としては、音質・耐久性共に落ちるので値段相応というところです。値段が安いという事で使い方によっては有りかと思います。
apoorv agrawal –
good material.
Matthew Laird –
I have used DR Pure Blues strings for 25 years and I love them. I bought these to give a set of acoustic strings a try. I have not put them on yet but I do like the performance characteristics that are described. I cannot wait to see how they sound, how they last and if they live up to what is promised. From the other DR products I have used, I am pretty sure they will.
Reviewer –
For the price, these seem to be really good so far. I just put them on last night so might be too early to say, but so far I’m impressed. Even as a 200lb large guy for whatever reason I like these smaller, brighter sounding strings. Very easy on the fingers too (don’t play as frequently as I used to so calluses aren’t as built up). I like these thinner, brighter strings. Fun and easy to play. Look good and feel good and sounds good.
Amazon Customer –
I threw a 10-48 set of these on an 80’s Kramer Ferrington to get a little bigger tone with easy action. I was really surprised at how these strings drastically improved the normally thin sound of such a small bodied guitar, especially considering the very low price (for decent acoustic strings). I bought spares, and this guitar has a much fuller, brighter tone than it ever did. These still sound great after two months of pretty aggressive playing, I’m glad I heard about ’em!
James Deane –
I change my tunings A LOT which I know is not recommended but I can not afford a different guitar for each tuning. These strings have no broke yet after a month, knock on wood. They sound great once worn in and I love em.
Tanner c. –
These are good strings if you were wanting to learn how to play guitar or you were just fiddling around or practicing however, I do not recommend performing a gig with the strings, but the sound quality is good
Emanuel –
Comprate per la mia cort elettroacustica. Il suono è l’impido e chiaro, definito anche nei bassi. ottime corde… sicuramente le ricomprerò!
Rohit Patnala –
Just took a chance on these, and they turn out to be lit.
Honestly amazing strings!
Amazon Customer –
Great strings. More than that I cannot say as I have not used them yet
House & Home Customer –
Great overall tone to accompany me as a singer and rhythm guitar player.
Used on my Takamine Santa-fe flattop.

DR Rare are the only strings I’ll use on my acoustics. There’s nothing that comes close to these. I have personally done the comparison TWICE with the DR Rare vs Elixier Nanoweb. The sound is nearly identical on my Takamine and My Martin with both sets of strings. The playability is the same, I can’t tell a difference and they both last about the same time. I may give the Elixir a very ,very slight edge on the longevity cause the crispness might have lasted about a week longer, but that’s just not enough to justify paying double the price for them. I been using The DR Rare’s for the past 10 years and in-between I have tried other strings that people said were “the best” but I have yet to find a better string. You just can’t beat these strings in my opinion. I will be ordering another 2 sets. I ordered these “extra lights” by mistake. I usually use lights or mediums. These were a bit too light for my liking.
