Installed this in a 2007 bmw with premium sound system and paired to samsung s22. Pugged in, paired, played music and podcasts in minutes. Sound quality is very good. It’s a very small item and easy to store in the cubby where your Aux port is. I was going to by the name brand unit at three times the price but I thought what the heck, lets try the cheap one. It’s perfect. Highly recommend.

I did not like the cost for the item and for some reason it takes time to connect every time. But other than that the product is working well. The sound quality aint bad but while using gps and listening to music the sound volume adjustment is hard. Also for calls it somewhat clear.

We have an old but trusty 2008 Ford Escape — best car ever, but lacks bluetooth like all the shiny new ones. We’ve been using the aux in (3.5mm) input jack for the longest time.
Since my wife has an iphone and i have an android device w/ USB C, we’ve been juggling 2 different cords this entire time, which is annoying and inconvenient.
last week i totally snagged the cord on my coat while getting out of the car, which broke it. Decided to look up bluetooth dongles and this one came up. it’s pretty amazing esp for the price. sound quality is better than wired. connects and works seamlessly and can even support 2 connected devices at once, which works pretty well. no brainer purchase!

Oh, and it doesn’t need a static radio station, so you have great sound quality, great signal strength, no interference, and it plugs into the car charger or home charger – so having to recharge…. GREAT!

Purchased recently for 2 reasons: My 2012 GMC Terrain Bluetooth & Hands Free Calling compatibility completing stopped working & disappeared from my car to where I can’t access either of them as if they never existed! Was SUPER bummed, as I don’t like to hold my phone at all while driving & speaker phone not good enough sound quality.
Secondly, I upgraded to Galaxy 23+ and no longer have Aux- soo I lost my Bluetooth, Hands Free Calling and Aux media playing!! So far, I’m shocked at how well this device works for the price!! I used aux cord that came w/ it & plugged into car aux inside center console that runs through a cord opening GMC designed to be accessible and device sits in a little compartment right in front of console. It connected right away from car aux via Bluetooth directly to phone with no connectivity issues so far. FINALLYY have audio playback through my car speakers & media dash control AND hands free calling again!!! So far, no difference in overall sound quality on media or a call, no complaints so far from anyone hearing me, no issues during call or any interference, static or buzzing sounds.
Have not had to charge yet as just bought but I have a USB C plug above Aux so will try that first. The device volume/skip and main source buttons don’t matter for me as my phone always on mid volume with ringer turned down low and I’ve always controlled audio volume through car dials or through steering wheel. You dont need to worry about adjusting volume on device itself for that reason unless quicker or based on personal situation. I use my phone to skip/pause & swipe right/left in Spotify app on phone & answer/hangup calls directly on phone. May be diff for me as my phone attaches to a magnetic car mount by steering wheel. It’s neat too if I mute speaker in a call it mutes device mic too.
Very curious on all reviews I read to see how long device last as is #1 complaint. Only con for me and multiple people is no auto turn on or auto disconnect when car off & and when you get a call your phone rings on top of device spelling out #, but doesnt bother me, im just glad i even have access to do either things now. I like that a voice tells me im connected without looking for light to Blink. With the amount of reviews and being #1 best seller, it’s worth to try based on the quality you get for such a low price and wayy better than FM transmitters in my opinion.

This thing works really well. It connects fast, sounds equal to using an aux cord (if your port isn’t worn out), and the battery life is great. I got about 14 days at just over an hour per day of use. Of course this is so long as you remember to turn it off.
My only concern is the input charge rate is 150 mA. I’m not sure about other countries, but that’s an insanely low output for a charger, and not one of mine goes even close to that low. 700 mA is the lowest I have (from a blackberry I had 20+ years ago), so that’s what I’ll have to use. I just hope it doesn’t cause my battery to go bad pre maturely. Even my 12 year old iPhone charger is 1000 mA. All the new ones are over 2000+ mA. This should really include a charger if it can’t handle the output of today’s average charger.

Sorprendido por lo bien que funciona. La carcasa es plastico con un marco aluminio alrededor, el botón de encendido y función es uno sólo y se siente algo endeble pero funciona bien. Tiene botones de control de volumen a un lado pero en Android funcionan primero cómo controles para saltar o volver a la pista y sólo cuándo les das una presión larga cambian volumen. La calidad del sonido ha sido bastante buena, los he usado con unos audífonos grado SR60e y me ha sorprendido gratamente. El alcance es bastante decente y aunque lo he usado poco para escuchar mi smart tv con audífonos, parece que no tiene problemas de latencia con los videos de YouTube o Netflix. En mi opinión, es un buen producto y a un buen precio. 100% recomendable.

The J22 bluetooth receiver is a fantastic little unit that allows you to play music and podcasts on your old-school car stereo (as long as it has an AUX auxiliary port). It is extremely predictable and reliable once it is paired to your phone, immediately connecting when you power it on. It runs for 10+ hours on a single charge (which is via a USB-C port). It will automatically power down after a few minutes of being disconnected from your phone – great when you arrive at your destination – and avoid having to keep charging it. Sound quality is very good – at least as good as CD. It comes with both a short audio cable and that nice direct adapter for connection to your car head unit.Much better than finicky other bluetooth adaptors I have tried.
