Love this adapter. My old car is bluetooth capable now. The bluetooth peering is easy and reliable. The power on and off messages are short and clear. The audio quality is good. There are lights to show you it is in operation or powering off. The battery life is good – I have been using it quite a bit for over a month without a recharge. It’s hard to find products that just work like they should – as simple as possible and reliably – but this one does.
Exactly what I would expect of this device and the price is good. Very pleased.

I love this Bluetooth! I’ve gone through so many cords and this is a big improvement. My commute isn’t long, but I’ve been using it in my car for over a month and haven’t even recharged it once. Removed one star because taking calls on it isn’t the greatest. I can hear the other person, but everyone says I sound muted/really far away and they have a hard time understanding me. I honestly prefer not to take calls while I’m driving, so I’m still very happy with this purchase.

Tip: it has a pretty good range, so be sure to turn it off and hear it say “power off” before you turn off the car. Otherwise you’ll get calls and still be connected to car speakers that are turned off. I tried just disconnecting from my phone and it kept reconnecting while on the call. Glad it was only my mom on the other end!

This works better than expected. It holds a long battery life if you’re diligent about turning it off when not in use, which is sometimes easy to forget if you’re accustomed to audio cables. Aside from needing to be charged, in most other ways this has been superior to cables, which invariably get brittle and damaged in a car.

This turned frustrating car rides back into fun. I had to go from a new vehicle with Bluetooth to an old car without and this makes it so easy to connect. Two devices can be connected so my teen and I are both able to connect. I used some 3m adhesive from a pop socket and attached it to the dash which makes phone calls easy and safe. I’m SO GLAD I got this adapter!! I keep it plugged in all the time so I’m not actually sure about battery life but I’m giving 5 stars because keeping it plugged in makes sense for me and it works perfectly.

I’ve always had issues with bluetooth receivers in the past. Always thought they were gimicky and kinda useless. Sound quality always poor, and battery life was awful. This on the other hand is quite the opposite. Sound quality is great, battery lasts me a week or so depending on how much i use it. I am highly impressed with this product. But don’t take my word for it try it yourself.

I drive A 2008 Chevy and the only things i have Is radio a CD player and an aux. since apple came out with the “no headphone hole” i had To haul around a Bluetooth speaker. Now you could buy just the Aux cord and a adapter but if your like me and your phone dies a lot u can’t charge it. Instead of just buying a second adapter to charge your phone and play music just save your money and invest in one of these. Works very well long charge life. Only complaints is it does flash a blue light constantly which at first was kinda distracting at night time or early in the morning but i got Used to it. And when i try And charge it while playing music it makes a buzzing sound which i cant Tell if that’s my truck, the charger I’m using or the product. Doesn’t matter cause when you play music you can’t hear it at all.

Bought this to use in my car with an older radio that does not have bluetooth connectivity, using to plug into the AUX jack in the radio and connect my phone to stream music and make calls, works great. The sound quality is great for music and pretty good for calls. Sound quality on the other end for calls is pretty good considering the device is about 2′ away from me, so no complaints. Would definitely recommend for “upgrading” an older car radio system, much better than an FM bluetooth transmitter.

This works very nicely for connecting Bluetooth through the Aux jack in my car. It is replacing a unit that needed to plug into USB power and that broke after several years. It can as quickly to my phone and no complaints about sound.

A few things aren’t ideal. The plus and minus buttons use for advancing or going back on the track are small and not something you want to press when it’s plugged in as shown in the listing. It would damage the Aux jack. Since changing tracks back and forth is something I do, a lot- could be tracks on Spotify list for example- this is a bit of pain.

Since it has its own power, it stays connected to your phone. Even after you turn off the car. Your phone doesn’t know so it keeps playing and you don’t hear anything because the car audio is off. As a result. It will keep on playing through your podcast list or whatever until you remember to disconnect your phone. Or maybe your phone will ring in when you answer. The phone call doesn’t work because you’re still connected. That’s a bit of a pain. So this is really only occasionally use only and I’ll have to go back to the car powered one so it knows to turn off when I turn off the car.
