Crane Adorables Ultrasonic Humidifier, 1 Gallon, Frog

I love this humidifier, very cute.

CAUTION: Be very careful if you put fragrance oils into the water to make it smell nice. Essential oils only! I accidentally put cheap fragrance oil into mine, and it literally melted some of the plastic inside. Almost welded the water valve closed, which would have ruined the whole humidifier. Yikes!

We bought this to use in our daughter’s bedroom at night and this was a great product to provide a bit of white noise and to help humidify the room. We’ve also used the cow model and this one is great because it has two vents for the air to exhaust into the room. Very cute as well.

this product is very effective and cute! I ordered it for myself as an asthmatic living in the Northern Midwest of the US, and not for a child. The red coloring on one of the seal bands does color some of the product in some red residue. I do recommend only using distilled water and not tap water, though if you do regularly clean it, tap water didn’t kill it in the year I used it (i lost the chord to power it, oops! :p)

The shipping order, the shipping box, and the box housing the humidifier all confirmed that I was to receive the frog style. I removed the product box from the shipping box. I opened the product box. I found that this particular frog humidifier wasn’t green, but white and black with a pink snout! It’s webbed feet were black, rather than a pleasant green.

Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against cows -but I think this frog was actually a cow!

Anyway, I utilized many tools to clean out my fro- I mean COW- humidifier, including tooth brushes and pipe cleaners. Because I used tap water, there were calcified bits that were particularly hard to get to in order to remove. This is not the humidifier’s fault, but the reason why distilled water is preferred for this product.

We needed a humidifier in our girl’s bedroom and couldn’t be happier with what we got.

Thanks to the way Amazon’s page is organized, she was able to pick the one she wanted (Hello Kitty) herself so she thought she knew what she was getting but what we received exceeded our expectations. From our daughter’s point of view, the Kitty is as cute as in Amazon’s picture but she’s so much bigger – hard to hold one gallon of water in a small kitty – and, besides blowing steam through her ears she can also double as a night light, in this case a soft purple.

When it comes to operation, assembly and maintenance, it can’t get much better. Assembly was quick and taking the tank out for refills is easy enough for our 10 yr. old to do it herself. As far as cleaning and maintenance, haven’t done any yet because we’ve only used it for a few days but, according to the manual, a little bleach should clean the tank and wiping the other parts with water and vinegar is all it takes.

There’s not much more to say. Once plugged in, you can control the amount of steam that comes out. It operates quietly and, for as long as you set the steam level right and your replace the water when needed, all is well.

We initially purchased the Kidsline humidifier from the store since it was incredibly cute. But apart from the physical appeal, everything else about the Kidsline humidifier annoyed me. The mist was spraying from the BACK of the humidifier so it was hitting against the wall (most people will place their humidifiers on a counter that’s against the wall, right?). Much worse was the power setting of the Kidsline humidifier, or should I say non-existent power setting inspite of a knob – the mist was beyond control & I was nervous about leaving something like this in our daughters’ room overnight without any parental supervision.

We packed up the former humidifier on the same night we bought it- and I immediately ordered the Crane Hello Kitty humidifier. Took the package to arrive in 2 days which was fantastic speed. Now this Crane humidifier is a new dimension altogether. The mist is ultra-fine so it’s not even visible to the human eye if it’s on average setting but you can feel it. The mist sprays out of Hello Kitty’s ears which is upright so I’m very pleased and feel much more assured with this design. Not to mention it’s equally as cute as the Kidsline’s range; my daughters were psyched with this replacement and especially adore the nightlight which is a very awesome purplish-blue shade. My 3.5 yr old can’t wait to turn out the lights each night so this humidifier will light up, well who will argue with a couple of young kids when they tell you they want to go to bed NOW!

I have had this humidifier for a little over 4 months now. It works great! It arrived on time and was properly packaged. UPS delivered it and I was able to track it. I bought this humidifier for my daughter’s room. She was screaming in excitement when I was opening it! She loved it. Especially when she saw the nightlight! Yes the nightlight works on mine. It is absolutely adorable! Right away we put it to the test. It was very simple to set up and it comes with instructions just in case. Well when we turned it on it started working perfectly. You can actually see the mist! It comes out of Hello Kitty’s ears. It is easy to clean and use. You can adjust the amount of mist too. You also don’t need a filter. It works perfectly with out one. I did buy one as an add item just incase and just like the humidifier itself it is reliant, easy to use, easy to clean, and sanitary.

I’ve bought other humidifiers before. They broke, had to buy filters, dirty, and couldn’t see the mist. All that for the same price as this one.

I’m most highly satisfied with my purchase. It’s perfect! It’s reliant and I don’t have to waste money on filters.
I love how easy to clean it is. The air that my daughters breath is very important to me. I’m happy I have finally found the right humidifier. On top of all this it’s Hello Kitty and it’s adorable!!!!! 💖💖💖💖💖💖👍👍👍👍👍
