I really like this dryer. I have the sunlu on the left and it’s controls are wonky but works well. This creality one is nicer. The controls feel really good and the box has some insulation. It will only fit 1kg or smaller rolls which is fine with me I do not user bigger. The fan which is a nice feature is loud. Louder when it’s open as you can hear in the video. Overall though it’s good and does the job. I’ve used it for pla and petg so far on some rolls that were over a year old and had been sitting out. No popping sounds at the hotend like you get with wet filament.

It works good for me. Came with a horrible plastic smell for the first couple of days when running. After that no problem.

Unboxed it, plugged it in, set the controls. In under 2 mins the screen went crazy and no longer worked. I’m sure it’s a one off, but not willing to try a second time.

The humidity display drops to 15% when the dryer is done. However the humidity percent remains at 15% forever, or until you power the device off.! Once you power it back up the display of current humidity will be correct.
Silly bug on their part. I did not find this answer on their website. Their AI chat bot did not know. Once I chatted with a person over there, they were able to confirm that in order to reset the humidity display you must power the dryer off and back on again.

wow, it this thing noisy! Seriously, if you’ve got kids or sensitive pets, the high pitched fan noise is obnoxious. I also wonder just what happens to the humidity – I you start out with 35% humidity and it’s in an enclosed space with a fan and gets down to 15% in a few hours, where does the water go? There’s no vents, but hmmm. After a roll was sitting in the dryer for 8 hours and showed 15%, and not opened for hours, I restarted it the next morning – again read 35%. Maybe I’m missing something obvious, but if it’s supposed to remove water, it didn’t. Maybe it’s just supposed to lower it on the tiny part that gets fed out the tube when printing? Also, the controls are percent centigrade only, and 24 hour time limit.

Works awesome! Easy to use, set the time, set the temperature and start. Spools can roll inside nicely if you want to feed it to the printer right from the dryer.

Turned it on for the first time and the display makes garbled numbers. Feels super flimsy too.

Made old, brittle spools of PLA printable again.
It gets to the temperature needed, and the timer will run it long enough.

This dryer can perform the basic task of keeping an already dry filament from hydrating during printing, but do not expect more which its appearance seems to imply. Other tested dryers with basic function and lower price will do the same thing.
The problems with this one are:
1. The humidity sensor only goes to 15%, so it is useless. This must be the reason the spec is not given in the sale listing.
2. The feed hole is at the corner of the lid and perpendicular to the filament. So, if you have stiff or brittle filament, as some specialty filaments are, it can snag or pull, messing with the extruder. I had to drill two holes and insert grommets for top and bottom feeding of filament.
3. In my testing, it did not reach 65C even when empty. The measured temp was ~60C. I do not think it will reach 65C unless the room is very warm. This not really an issue for keeping already dry filament dry, and this is sufficient for PLA and PETG. However, do not expect miracles with water soluble, flex, or nylon filament.
Otherwise, it performs like a basic box dryer, of which there are many on the market.

This drier has taken my 3d printing to the next level. Definitely helps reduce failed prints and seems to smooth out the final product since it removes moisture from the filiment.

Works as described. Anyone who 3d prints needs one of these. You don’t realize how much moisture your PLA is absorbing even in a dry climate
