Perfect fit for my 2008 E350 … JUST like OEM

This kit was perfect for my 2008 Mercedes E350. The ribbed idler pulley locked up and made the belt jump off, ruining the idler pulley and the belt. Since this is an older car I decided it was time to replace the tensioner as well, so this kit really fit the bill. The included smooth idler pulley was definitely a bonus too, as mine looked worn out. The job wasn’t too difficult, just be sure to take enough pictures to remember how to route your belt after replacing the parts.
As for quality, the belt, tensioner, and smooth idler pulley all matched the original parts that were being replaced. The ribbed idler pulley was different, but it said it was made in Germany as opposed to the original which said it was made in Turkey. I’ll take it! It’s been almost a week since I replaced the belt, and it’s working as expected. It hasn’t slipped a bit, and I’m not hearing any annoying chirping. Highly recommend this to any of you weekend mechanics out there.

This ContiTech kit is perfect for 2010 Mercedes E350 four door sedan. At first, Amazon says this product will not fit. I asked the seller through the Q&A and they also told me it won’t fit. In actuality it fits. I checked other websites using the product number and this part number did match my chassis and model year. I was hesitant at first to buy this but still bought it.
Took me a little over an hour to install. I took my time to make sure everything went well. This is not super easy to install or super difficult. For home mechanics, this kit is perfect. Saved me $$$ for sure doing it myself rather than going to the dealer.
Product fits beautifully and all the noise and chirping from the old pulleys and belt are gone.

I am an ASE master technician with 20 years experience. I bought this kit as it had all the components necessary for preventative accessory drive belt maintenance on my wife’s GL450. The O.E. Equipment was making no noise. The price was cheaper than rock auto or FCP euro for the same parts. However after 3 days in cold weather it started squeaking. Now I know lots of tricks to make a belt stop but everything I tried lasted only temporarily. I am 100% positive it is the Continental belt as they were notorious for underperforming. All the pulls bearings are good but the belt has a bad spot. This is annoying and embarrassing. I will never purchase this product again. If the seller would like to reach out to me for rectification that would be great. But don’t buy this product. If I had bought it from FCP euro I’m sure they would’ve worked with me. amazon is dicey and I’m not returning all of these components and having a non driving car while waiting for new products

I wanted to do preventative maintenance on my car. There was nothing wrong with my old tensioner, belts and idle pulleys. I put these new ones on the other day and it squeals like crazy now! I believe the tensioner is bad. The marks on it are showing out of spec. I should have installed this thing sooner. I just missed my return time with Amazon. I guess I’ll order a new one from Mercedes now.

Use this belt kit on a GL450 as preventative maintenance. All parts in the kit are good quality and either original equipment supplier or oe equivalent. Installed with no issues whatsoever.

Due to lack of genuine spare parts on this part of the world, I replaced this part in my car more than six times locally sourced but they all failed hence I decided to look for it at Amazon.com.
Since when I replaced Amazon parts I have never have any issues with it any more. What a value for money decision
