I have owned 2 of these machines in the past and use them more than 2 times a week if not more. The capacity of this processor is the largest I’ve ever had. Very convenient when making items that have a lot of liquid. It doesn’t leak! Awesome!!!

I bought this to replace one I had for over 20 years! This is 11cups, I think my old one might have been only 8 cups. There are a few different features on this one, but the basics are the same. I had bought other brands, but they didn’t last more than a few months. I hope this one lasts as long as the last Cuisinart I had!

Great food processor. But a part broke, and getting in touch with Cuisinart was so difficult that i gave up and returned it and bought a new different brand. On hold with them for 3 times for a total of about 2 hours. Web site didn’t have the info i needed. I had to message 3 times to get a response. Buyer beware

I had a different brand. it did not last long . so i tried this one and went one cup larger. it makes double batches of almost anything i need. i have used it for pesto and muffins mixes so far that contain zucchini and it mixed extremely well. i have not used all the blades yet. just the basic one.

I purchased this to replace an old DC-11 hoping that the bowls would be interchangeable. Didn’t happen; I ended up giving the old one away. This took a bit of time to get used to. My old bread-making technique (water first, adding flour, etc. through the tube) didn’t work with this. The tube was too small and the dough clumped up too dry and didn’t knead properly. Then I tried flour and dry stuff first and liquids through the tube and it worked great. I don’t like the buttons on this one as well as the old one, but it does have high and low settings. I adore the adjustable slicer and the reversible (coarse/fine) shredder. Huge improvement over all the discs I had to have before. This unit feels “beefier” too.
The only thing that continues to bug me is that shredded stuff ends up caught in the rim of the lid when I take it off. I have to run my finger around the groove to get the pieces out.
Otherwise, great product.

I have had Cuisinart food processors since they first came out and loved them for years, only replacing them when I wanted a larger bowl or different features, always giving the old one away to someone I knew because they were always still working fine. The last time I did that I regretted giving my old one away because the newer models have been so unsatisfactory I found myself avoiding using them. I never understand why “engineers” mess with good design only to replace it with bad design — cost reduction, I guess. I researched other brands of processors exhaustively for literally years, and was never inspired by what I learned about them, so kept soldiering on with the Cuisinart I had come to despise. Finally, last year I saw this Cuisinart model a decided to give it a try. I have had it for a year now and can honestly say I am in love with my Cuisinart food processor again and highly recommend this model. Every time I use it I am impressed by the intricacy of the planning and modelling that went into the design to make it work so well. I did experience a learning curve, because there are some significant differences between this model and all the other Cuisinart models I have had and seen, but it works extremely well for all my tasks and, because of these design changes, it holds more liquid without leaking all over the place like other recent models.

I hesitated to buy this model because I wasn’t sure if it would be too large and worth the extra cost. I’m glad I bought it! The larger motor has been well worth it. It has performed really well for me so far.

I read the instructions, and washed the parts as recommended. When I assembled the product, it never turned on. I experimented with the different bowls and blades, but the motor simply doesn’t work. Others have had similar issues. I ordered this to replace a smaller food processor that I had for years that finally broke. The new Cuisniart, aside from not working, has many plastic parts and doesn’t look as durable. It is much more time consuming to clean and assemble than my previous one given all the bowls, stem adapter, and multiple food tube feeders. I am returning it and will purchase one from a store. It was a hassle to repackage the broken one.

I don’t know why I waited so long to get a food processor. I was afraid it looked complicated but it’s easy to use . It’s powerful. I made pie crust that was so easy and came out so great. Takes so much work away. Highly recommend.

When we renovated our kitchen, I decided that most of my appliances needed to be replaced as they were 40 years old and not dong the job anymore. I ordered a top of the line Kitchen Aid processor with a large bowl and an additional smaller bowl and 3 different blades. It was a huge mistake. The smaller bowl needed to be inserted into the larger bowl, thereby creating more dirty dishes to wash, the control buttons were not at a convenient angle and I needed two hands to operate as I needed to hold the processor base with one hand and push the button with the other hand. It also took up a lot of space to store. I realized my immersion blender had a small food processor bowl that I hadn’t yet used and once I tried it, realized it was perfect for smaller jobs and so I ordered this Cuisinart Food Processor…it is perfect! The bowl should be big enough for any of the larger jobs I need to do and it is easy to clean. It was also 1/3 the price of the Kitchen Aid…expensive mistake to make 🙁 I would highly recommend this processor!

Actual processor is great. Easy to use/clean. Fully recommend.
However, the product I got appears to be an open box, resealed box, scratches, marks over the cup, looks generally used. I messaged amazon but they never replied. I finally kept the item as I’d waited so long and I didn’t want to send it back, as I’m trying to be less wasteful, and well, it works, so….
Just wish I’d known it was an open box.
Standards are slipping.
