11,000 BTU OUTPUT: This small but mighty heater has 11,000 BTUs, the round aluminum heat reflector top plate distributes the heat evenly.
ROTARY DIAL CONTROL: Simply set to your comfort level with the dial knob. Works with 1 lb. propane tank (not included).
SAFETY TILT-SWITCH: Automatically shuts down the heater in case it is accidentally knocked over. Heater also features a burner screen guard.
PORTABLE DESIGN: Lightweight and small, this heater can be easily taken anywhere and set on a table.

Good quality. I bought a couple tables these sit on, that hold full size cylinders that feed these. They put out good heat, not as much as tall floor standing ones, but quite enough. We usually have them set at ½ flow, after the initial couple minutes for them to heat up.

There are three things about this deadly little heater that scream DANGER.
Firstly it’s very lightweight. Just touching it carelessly can make it skitter across whatever you have it perched on. Skitter across or more outrageously skitter off!
Then you have that horrendously hot top lid which, unlike its bigger cousins, is right in your face or even a close reach for a toddler. That’s a bit of a burn for one of your kids.
Thirdly it takes TWO hands to shut it off. TWO! You have to push the “off” dial in against a pointlessly strong spring and if you try that the thing will just skitter away or tip over; you need to restrain the unit by bracing it with another hand, hopefully somewhere cool. Things like this need to be easy to shut down.
Fortunately I tipped mine over carefully to test it, and it shut off. You’d better hope that your tip-over mechanism works because the safety if one’s house and family could be an issue.

This portable heater is very easy to assemble, and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. If you are looking for a high heat output, this heater is not for you. We use it in a small 3-sided area and put chairs around it and it keeps us warm. Easy to start and the 1lb propane tank lasts us around 2 hours give or take on high setting. The very top does get hot, so if you have small children I would not recommend, I’m happy with the durability and it is very easy to move around.

Let it continue to burn on high for around 30-45 min.s until smell goes away. That should only happen once during initial burn. Propane really does not have any noticeable odor when combusted, I use it every day on range top and only smell food cooking.
Safety First Top burner area gets very HOT! Use caution don’t move after shutdown for about 30-45 min. Good heft in weight, sturdy base, feels well made, should last a while! ”
