I have mixed feelings about this product. My hairdresser swears by this product about how lightweight it is and the curls it produces. She is very specific about how to apply it so here is what she told me-
Your hair has to me almost soaking wet and spray so much on there that the product drips out then brush the product in. I know that gives us curly haired girls a heart attack hearing that but remember your hair should be super wet at this point still. After this you will see the product start to curl the hair, it is the craziest thing! More spiraly curls for me. After that I crunch my hair only a few times with my hands and my towel lightly but scrunch from the bottom up.
It is a lightweight product even when putting the amount on that my hairdresser advised. I don’t feel like I have product in my hair and the hair is never crunchy even when it dries. I think it is a great product, the only problem is that my hair will stay frizzy even after the application. It might just be my hair but I would love a product within this spray to help control frizz since curly haired people deal with that often too.

After seeing all the good reviews on this project, I thought it would be the one that would work perfect for my curly hair. The color of it is just so enticing that I had to get it, but I sprayed it on my hair. I got the distinct smell of gasoline. I thought maybe I was just having an off day and it was me but then I used it again the next day and the smell was still there. It didn’t make my curls look any better, but it did add volume to my hair. I just can’t get past the smell. I had to return it.

I watched all the videos and read the reveiws from consumers. I was excited to get both recommended products. Vital serum and shook mix for curly hair!!! I used it as instructed,serum first then shook spray. The spray pump was difficult to use tipping the bottle would stop the spray. It was slippery and not easy to dispense. I have thick coarse hair and was looking for curl definition and I got sticky ratty hair 3 times bushier with no defination or shine. My hair looked like an old mop. I rinsed it all out ! I rewatched the videos and used less product and finger twisted my hair and diffused it dry. Still no shine, went outside and within 20 minutes there was no definition or curls . Just a fuzzy mess.AWFUL product for coarse thick hair. I even tried the products separately,with no success. Back to my old products gel and shine serum!

The stuff is pretty good. I just started using it. It does not weigh my hair down and it does not leave it crunchy like some brands. I have naturally curly hair that the longer it gets the less curly it is because it’s so heavy! constantly looking for something that doesn’t weigh my hair down and feel gross. So far, I prefer to use it in my hair and not diffuse it. The picture taken shows what it did after it was diffused, but I find that if I let it naturally dry, it actually is curlier than if I diffuse it.

This may not look like much to you, but when I tell you that my hair is only kinda wavy if you look at it a certain way and tilt your head sideways, I’m not kidding. I have been struggling for years to find the perfect cocktail of mousse, gel, sea salt spray. My hair is not straight, but it is not curly. So it would be either frizzy and I would have to straighten it daily (no thank you). Or I would have to try to get some sort of wave to show. THIS WORKED! I used ONLY this one product. I did it for a couple of days to see if the first time was a fluke. NOPE. And yes, it stayed all day. I have now gone into their Amazon store and loaded up every product that I can find for curly hair and body! And on payday, I am hitting the ORDER BUTTON!! I see people saying they don’t like the smell, which makes no sense. It has no smell at all to me. It’s light weight and made my hair bouncy. MY HAIR IS NOT NATURALLY BOUNCY!
Buy it, but it now. Yes it is worth every single penny. I did not use the combo I see advertised, I JUST used this one product. I can only imagine what the combo will do!! BUY. THIS. IMMEDIATELY!
