Dany Valensi –

I’m new to playing ukulele and a more experienced player recommended this tuner to me.
I’ve had it about a month and love it. I find it to be easy to use, is always available in the sound hole, and is significantly less obtrusive visually than the tuners that clip onto the head stock.
Yes, I recommend it.

Strengths: Installs in uke easily and is clearly visible when tuning.
Weakness: Difficult to turn on and off when the strings are in place.

I do not know why they say it is a “Ukelele” Tuner. Works perfectly with my guitar and unlike the ones you clip onto your headstock, this one stays in the sound hole out of mind and out of sight until it is needed. I no longer have to worry about it getting separated from my guitar and left behind at a gig or whatever. Some say that the clip is brittle but seems fine to me and I have no intention to move it around and use it with my other guitars anyway.

Not just for ukes, this is a great all round tuner. I stuck it in the soundhole of my 12-string and it’s been there since. Since I use a couple tunings it’s very handy to have it right there. Can recommend for such instances. Don’t play uke so I don’t know how it performs with them

I have used this for quite some time. It’s a great little tuner and even bought a second one for my other acoustic. This said, it marred the finish in my favorite guitar. Also, I have to remove it to use my Woody Acoustic Pickup. It would be great if it had a felt finish protector. Unfortunately it doesn’t and I found out the hard way.

While it’s advertised as made for ukulele, it’s a chromatic tuner that will tune anything with a sound hole. My complaint is that, while its fast and accurate, it is very hard to use. Mine tilts around too much when pressing the buttons. If you accidentally hit the calibration (right side) button, you have to scroll up to 480 then it starts at 420 and you have to work back to 440 one press at a time. It also falls into the instrument easily. For the price of one of these you can get a two-pack of the NS Micro clip on version that clips securely to th4e headstock, hides discreetly, and has more features.
