Thank goodness there are aftermarket options for these dolls! I would go broke ordering through the American Girl catalog. My daughter loves her American Girl doll and she is really into gymnastics right now. This outfit fit the bill perfectly! I have both items and trust me there’s a major difference. Unless you’re stuck on the little sparkle design on this product, shop around. See my photos for comparison. For less you can purchase a set with a larger and puffier mat along with a much larger gold metal, it’s a no brainer for my 6 yr old! Trust me. Shop around before deciding!

The suit is nicely made for the price, the matt is definitely not a matt maybe fabric stretched over cardboard, but my daughter uses it in her barbie gymnastics set up so not a total loss, its more barbie size then AG size
