I bought both a left-handed and right-handed set of these tuners for my 12-string. These are a very good quality tuner.
William Klepy –
Ordered the lefty plastic button tuners. Arrived. Seemed good quality. Screws instead of pins in the product photo.
However they are unusable as the “first” and “last” tuners with the metal fixing tab were missing. These were all “middle four” tuners with notches for screws.
Returned and reordered hoping this was a one off mistake.
UPDATE: both packs of left handed tuners had no “ends”. Poor, and makes them totally unusable.

Easy to install onto a telecaster neck I got for a project. Good tuning stability and they perform the way they should. Fit in 10mm holes and good value for the money.

Let me say first that I think split-shaft tuners are far superior to the “modern” equivalents. They make it easier to get the proper downward break angle over the nut on a Fender-style (6 in-line) headstock, they hold tune better, you can undo the strings and wind them back up again—the advantages are many.
I took a chance on these, since they were far less than equivalent Klusons, and was pleasantly surprised. The screws lined up to where Klusons had been and they work just as well.
I was so happy with them that I bought a second set for another guitar. I’m considering replacing the “modern” tuners I have on my other guitars with these.
If you’re looking to buy a set, make sure you know the peghole size. If it’s 10mm (nearly all modern Fenders, for example) you’ll need to buy those bushings separately. And to get those bushings in (regardless of peghole size) takes a bit of force with the plastic end of a screwdriver, or other similar tool that can provide some force without damaging the headstock. I’m sure bad reviews saying “they don’t fit” could have been avoided if these tips are followed.

I bought these to replace the locked up tuners on my MIM Hendrix Strat. They fit like a glove, work smoothly and have the center hole for the string so that there are no sharp wires. Would buy again. Very nice. Thanks!

The first 5 tuners are wonderful! The high E us so difficult to turn that it hurt my fingers and wrist.

Figured I’d try these gold vintage tuners + the 10mm adapters to replace stock ones on an older squire strat. Installed easily, just had to drill new holes for the mounting screws. (just take care not to drill too deep and go thru the headstock like me on the first one) These seem secure, operate very smoothly, and so far been staying in tune. Time will tell, but very satisfied with these low priced tuners. String installation is now a breeze! A great choice if you don’t want to pay double for name brand tuners. Actually gonna get a nickel set for a bullet tele. Had to use a rat tail file on my 10mm holes a bit to press the adapter bushings more easily. (you only need the $10 adaptor bushings if you have 10mm holes)
Good gravy –
Great value for the price.

I swapped my modern style tuners for these and I am very satisfied with their performance. Installation was very simple. In my case I recommend to purchase the 10.8mm conversion bushings from this same brand. They slid right in and are snug enough to hold the tuners. A little bit of glue can help to make sure nothing pops out. The tuners shipped internationally and feel and look great for their price. Check the dimensions of your guitar holes and if you need adapters purchase the right ones and you should have no issues.

I had purchased an inexpensive guitar and WoW… the tuners were horrible. Could barely turn 2 of them. *Guitar body, finish and neck were decent for the price… I purchased these as they appeared to be identical. (close…) When I removed them from the package and spun them around the first time I could tell a world of difference in quality. These are not fancy but more than acceptable and turned a guitar I wanted but could hardly use into a buy I didn’t regret.
Guitar Junkie –
Purchased to mod a Squire Bullet Strat. I love the vintage style tuners, the easiest to restring in my opinion. The aged white buttons match the guitars pickguard perfectly for a really unique look. Super fast shipping and great price. Will order more. 10/10.
