Iβve tried a few brands of nipple shields and Dr. Browns are by far the best. I love the butterfly shape as the full circle shapes make me feel like my baby is unable to breathe well. The silicone is slightly thicker than the Medela brand but itβs hardly noticeable. The best feature of these is the stickiness – theyβre just silicone so not actual sticky residue but the βwingsβ of the butterfly shape stick so well to skin, I donβt feel like I need to maneuver too much to make them stay.

I disinfected the whole nipple case in hot handwash soapy water let it sit for 3-5 mins. Rinsed with clean bottled drinking water and dried with clean paper towel. I was skeptible about using this product, but the price and my painful red irritated sore nipples convinced me to give it a try. I used it with my 1month old and the breast milk flowed through the bpa plastic guarda. My baby didn’t even notice the difference. Loven it so far. Thank you!

I ended up not needing these for long, but the shape adhered super nicely to my breast and it worked as advertised. The only thing was that I have relatively small nipples, so the length was a little much for me.

I’m giving these nipple shields 3 stars because they are 24mm and entirely too big. I’m not sure anyone has 24mm nipples and they are actually unusable. If I could actually use them I would give them a higher rating because the shield itself is good quality and made of a comfortable silicone material that fits well over the nipple. I like other Dr. Browns products and I would probably reorder these in the correct size if I absolutely needed them.
