I love these on my sticker covered “campfire” acoustic. The perfect string for that outdoor, late night, jam session, longer lasting too.

Ho giΓ  scritto recensioni su queste corde ma per qualche motivo continuo a trovarmi la recensione da evadere.
Consiglio la prova di queste corde anche in formato 13-56 se le trovate.

I’ve tried several different packs of acoustic strings from a few different brands and out of the ones I’ve tired, DR Dragon Skin strings are the best I’ve ever heard! I put these on a Jasmine acoustic guitar that I was struggling to make sound good and these strings made it sound awesome! Then I put another set of these strings on my Fender acoustic and my Rogue acoustic and they sound phenomenal! Highly recommend investing in a few packs of these strings! It’s more expensive than packs from other brands like Ernie Ball and D’addario, but it is worth it. You get what you pay for. 5/5. Would buy packs from this brand again

I’m a bassist and use various DR strings on 4/5 basses, but I strung my acoustic guitar with these instead of the cheapo acoustic strings I normally buy, and these are miles better than anything else I’ve used. They made my low end acoustic sound like a million bucks in comparison. DR doesn’t make a bad product.

I’ve used these strings several times and they are consistent in high quality, balanced tone, and they are 50% or more cheaper than other name brand coated strings. The feel is much more like an uncoated string, so if you are a big fan of the smooth touch of Elixirs, these are rather different. For the combination of quality and cost, I don’t think these can be beat.

Nice in the hand, near perfect tension. One string went after about 10 hours play time. Possibly a sharp edge on the nut (have just acquired this used guitar). Overall, good sound, clear but not overly bright, slight lack of definition on the 6th in comparison to the rest of the set but will re-string my daily player and see if this is common. Overall, a good string at a good price so can’t be too harsh on the rating. Will be buying more and review again in the future.

Compared to Elixir or Martin coated strings, these are pretty good. Time will tell how long they will last but I’m pretty happy with them so far. They gave my buddy’s Taylor a warm yet bright sound. And they’re made in the USA which I like.

These are quite possibly the best strings I’ve ever played. I’ve tried other higher end strings and there is no comparison to the tone produced by DR.

I’m a fan of DR strings but the Dragon Skins were a huge disappointment. I put them on my Alvarez AF66ce Shadow Burst acoustic electric guitar and within a week they were completely dead. There was absolutely no sustain from day one. Would not buy these again and cannot recommend them.

These are good strings. I’m a kitchen picker, not a performer, but I’ve been playing a lot more than usual since March 2020 (pandemic stress much?). To me, these strings sound better (richer, maybe; less tinny) than the D’Addario strings that have been my bang-for-the-buck gold standard (3-pack on Amazon) for years. I can’t speak to whether these strings last longer than my standard; I’m lazy enough to avoid changing strings until they’re slap wore out. But I can say that these strings remind me of the DR “Peacock Blue” strings I used for a while, and still miss occasionally, since I can’t get them anymore. All that said, I don’t think I’d pay $9.99 for one set of these (I’m a kitchen picker, not a pro), but I’m happy to pay $12.99 for two sets. YMMV.

I have now, I’d say well over 20 hours on these Dragon Skin hard coated strings, and I’m impressed. Great tone. Great feel with better grip than Elixir’s IMHO . No sign of coating wear yet.
Will update once I’ve worn through the first set…. so far really good!
