Tried Pure blues , I usually use black beauties or high beams but thought I’d try out a set of DR pure blues , as usual DR strings never let me down , balanced tone and the string feel is awesome , nice warm tone but with enough edge if you want to slap & pop ( ask Victor if you don’t believe me lol ) . For mr DR bass strings are the best out there .
