They feel like crap however. Maybe the Ernie Ball Aluminum’s win this one by a nose, as the worst feeling string I ever strung. That being said, I bought these as I do like DR Rares and Sunbeams, but in this case, I have a guitar I never play that needs coated strings on it, and I knew this particular string would keep a long time and still sound like phosphor bronze strings when I do play it from time to time. I would not buy these for my main daily player. Elixirs will feel much better, or any of the non coated DR offerings for acoustic guitars. Again, big fan of Sunbeams.

I thought these were going to be light strings, however they are not. They do hold tune very accurately, and intonation is spot on. They are just hard to play.

J’utilise déjà ces cordes sur ma guitare folk. J’apprécie particulièrement leur longévité, le son brillant avec un sustain plus important que la moyenne. Les 11-50 constituent un bon équilibre pour la puissance sans avoir un jeu trop dur comme des 12 ou 13 pour les doigts.

Very happy Amazon now sell them. The strings have a clear mellow tone that I prefer. I have been using these strings for a long time but strings are a personal preference choice. These strings aren’t coated but processed in a way to extend their life and I think it works reasonably well. Check their website for details. They probably can’t compare with the life of Elixir strings but I tried those a long time ago and never used them again as I think the coating deadens the tone. If you don’t like coated strings and don’t want to change strings every month, give them a try.

Someone on Youtube had recommended these particular strings for the emerging “Acoustic/Electric ” guitars. I have completely changed my “herd” of guitars to the Canadian ‘Godin’ guitars. My particular focus for these strings is my Godin A6,. I am currently recording original music as a “Legacy” series. Songs which I have played throughout my lifetime so lets say I know them very well. The Veritas DR have achieved for me exactly what they said they would do on the package. ‘Loud”, “Bright”, Accurate. Two thumbs up Baby!!
