Great taste and fast delivery!

The reviews I’ve seen for every brand of casein had me expecting a mouthful of chalky sludge, but nope. Just loaded up a 22oz blender bottle with the stuff, dropped in a couple scoops (yep this is more water than suggested on the directions,) and it went down almost as easily as whey.
I did notice a slightly gritty texture, but nothing that’d put me off from drinking whatever I had prepared. Another upside of the extra water is that I could easily add some creatine and/or beta-alanine without worrying about anything falling out of solution.
Flavor-wise, it’s one of the better chocolate flavors I’ve encountered.
If I had one gripe to give, it’s that the scoop managed to find its way all the way down to the bottom of the container, so I had to reach into a bucket load of fluffy powder. Btw, 10/10 hand-feel. Not really sure if that’d be a reason to prefer a brand either, but there it is.

Empaquetado, sellado, todo bien

Ok so the vanilla one tastes absolutely insane. It tastes like vanilla ice cream. As for the mixing, it’s casein, it’s the same as all the other caseins. You have to add 2 or 3x as much water as you do with regular whey. I’ve tried a few casein protein powders and I definitely like this one the most. The taste is awesome.

This protein powder is the best tasting protein powder I’ve ever had!

I have tried a lot of protein powders in my life and this one is one of the best I’ve ever had!
Highly recommend!
Mix ability is good and taste is very good!

I initially bought this protein because I wanted a pure casein powder for the sake of baking and other recipes.
Pros:
– Tastes amazing and is absolutely phenomenal in recipes. Pictured above is a protein Vanilla Ice Cream I made in my blender.
– Extremely versatile in recipes. Casein protein powder in baking helps make things have a dense, less dry, less cakey recipe than whey, so it’s a must-have for any protein baker.
– Whips up nicely. Think of whisked eggs. An example is also in the picture above.
– Reasonably priced.
– The macros are good enough. The composition of this powder is 83.3% calories from protein which is good considering this powder tastes good.
Cons:
– Due to the nature of it being a casein blend, this does not mix well with water at all, so it is not good for quick protein shakes. If you mix this with water or milk, you may find it to be very grainy and thick which isn’t too desirable.
– It is reasonably priced, but it is still not the cheapest option for general protein intake.
Overall:
I still think even with the cons this qualifies as a 5-star item. Casein powder just typically isn’t great for quick water/milk-based shakes in general, so I can’t take points off for that, and the price itself is fair.
TLDR: It’s a good-tasting, reasonably-priced product. If you are planning on using it for baking or other recipes buy it. If you are planning on drinking this, do NOT buy this. Opt for a Whey protein or a Whey Isolate instead.

Melhor whey que existe. Compro dessa marca há anos. Original. Os melhores sabores sao de morango e de baunilha. Mas ha outros muito bons também. Recomendo.

The product is absolutely great! It 100% Micellar Casein, feeding muscles while you rest (great intake before bed, or if you do intermittent fasting – it keeps you satiated) which was the exact thing I was looking for; giving 25g per serving! And it’s 0% sugar, getting it’s sweetness from sucralose.
The taste of rich chocolate is absolutely delicious and as expected. (A few may have complained of the taste being powdery – it’s cos they are not adding enough milk / water) I make it in 350ml skimmed milk and it’s spot on!
It beat others in terms of pricing as well.
Being banned substance tested is a great thing as it ensures you’re not taking in something you don’t want to!
All in all, really happy with the purchase and I’ll be reordering again

UPDATE 9/6/2017: Been using for a few weeks now and I’ve figured out the thickness problem. The ideal shake for me is 10oz water for every scoop of protein. I’ve found 8oz or less results in the shake being too thick and just unpleasant to drink.
You can expect most reviews on protein powders rated 4+ stars to rave about the taste, even when you’ve tried it yourself and it tastes like sweet dirt (MusclePharm). So of course when I saw the reviews for this Dymatize Casein I didn’t really bat an eye. I was glad nobody was saying it tasted terrible, but I was mostly concerned with the macros and ingredient list. After deciding on this because of its good price, only a few ingredients, and quality macros, I received it a few days ago. Believe me when I say this is the best tasting protein I’ve had the pleasure of purchasing. Honestly it tastes like a Chick Fil A shake, if Chick Fil A had a cinnamon flavor. And I’ve only been using one scoop per 8oz water, I can only imagine how 1.5 scoops tastes with milk or vanilla almond milk. YES it is very thick compared to Gold Standard or other whey powders, but I think all casein powders are. But that doesn’t make it difficult to mix. My one scoop per 8oz water mixes fully with just a few shakes of the blender bottle. I’d say it mixes even easier than the Gold Standard I have.
The first night I drank it I’ll admit I had some trouble downing it because I was already pretty full. But every night since I’ve had no issues. I just enjoy the taste too much, the thick texture doesn’t bother me anymore. I used to wake up with stomach aches because I’d be so hungry, but not since taking this protein. Also I’ve experienced no side effects like gas or bloating.
For anyone wondering, I am bulking and do one scoop with my last meal for the day, 1-1.5 hours before bed. I’d recommend having it 1.5-2 hours before bed. Last night I did an hour and had to wake up in the middle of the night to pee. Not ideal.
I’ve heard of some people also using casein when cutting. One scoop in the morning to keep you full for several hours until lunch rolls around. I’d recommend it for this purpose too, it keeps me full but not bloated and I bet it’ll taste great in a smoothie with some berries and a banana in the morning.

I have been using this product for a while now and found it really easy to mix, tastes good and easy on the stomach.
The only issue for me was the serving size was a bit confusing. As the scoop size is normal like any whey product, thought one scoop is the serving size but one serving is two scoops, which will give you enough casein protein and calories per label.
