e.l.f. Hydrating Face Primer

I like everything about this product. The pump applicator doesn’t spurt out too much product so it’s easy to control. Feels great on my skin. Easy to apply. Price point…. it works just as well – if not better – than more expensive primers. There is a downside though – at least for me – and this won’t apply to many people. I live in a semi-rural area. No stores around me for at least 25 miles. Because of the bottle, can’t see when I’m running out. For some reason, felt I had been using my last bottle for a while and it was only a fluke that I ordered more though Amazon. Got it the next day, which was great because I only had two tiny little pumps left in the old bottle. My timing was great for this purchase. But now, I always keep an extra bottle… when one is empty, I have a spare and just order another. So my tiny complaint is that the bottle is pretty, but I can’t see the product or when I was almost out. ~ That’s not really a complaint about the actual product though, just a downside of living in a small town. ~ Definitely try this if you haven’t used it before, I think you’ll be happy with it for many reasons.

Can I just say the texture of this stuff is AMAZING. I’ve never used anything like it. it goes on SO smooth and spreads so easily. One pump is more than enough for your whole face and neck. I’d like to apologize for the following, probably really bad description of the texture, but it truly has such a unique feeling on the skin I can’t figure out how to describe it lol.

I don’t want to call it greasy, but I really don’t know what else to call it. Maybe velvety would be better? It feels weightless and hydrating. It leaves your skin looking dewy and not oily / greasy. It also stays kind of wet for a minute so it really helps me blend my makeup out easily and flawlessly.

I can’t speak on how well it works with foundation (I don’t use any) but it really helps my concealer, liquid blush, and powders stay put without settling into any pores or lines. I also use it as an eyeshadow primer and it works better than my actual eyeshadow primer lol.

Buy it, you won’t regret it.

Love, love, love this primer. It has a thick texture and feels a little greasy, but it made my face feel soft.

I’m over 70 yrs old and tried many primers but this is the best for dry skin. I just returned a more expensive one that made my skin look drier. Very satisfied with Elf primer. Goes on so smooth and works great under my makeup.

After ordering this this is my go to. Makes my skin not only look smooth but found it made my pores appear to be smaller. It is light weight so you don’t feel it on your face and I like how soft it leaves my skin. Very nice product.
