I can’t figure it out. It sounds like a standing node on the high notes on blow. I cleaned it and still same issue. I checked it tuning and that’s fine as well. Removed covers and no obstructions. I just don’t know. The high note is a different color reed than the others. Perhaps a mistake in heat treating?

This is my 8th East Top harmonica, each in a different key. Each one has been great, 100% playable and durable. They are as good if not better then many harps costing 2-3 time as much. Yes you can find other harps for even less, but none of the one I’ve tied have been usable for any real playing. If you are in doubt as to whether you really want to be a harmonica player, this is the one to get. At $25.00, it’s still a small investment worth the risk. A $10 harp that is barely playable is of NO value! You’ll quickly become discouraged and move on and miss out on the fun of playing the harmonica.

I couldn’t believe the majority of harmonicas out there are $30-$60 for a name brand entry level? Of course if you want to go Pro level your looking at $80-to over a hundred dollars! I still think these little rippers are a good deal. My Easttop harmonica in key of E is a little tricky to get those higher end notes to really come out without dissonance. It could be a good thing to buy for the money but then again if your starting out as a beginner you really want a quality harmonica that’s going to get ALL notes so you can learn & progress maybe later getting one of those expensive brands. It might not do you justice to buy a harmonica that’s good for the price but doesn’t produce the notes you need in order to learn. With all that I had no choice because of budget & a quick demand to start a folksy, bluegrass acoustic band, so I bought it out of budgeting. I gave it four stars all around ok harmonica to start off with

I bought this harp for a special gig – I needed a harp that I could play bluesy fills in the key of B, which I typically wouldn’t need. Instead of paying a premium price for a different brand I decided that I would try the Easttop. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and with the sound. It’s not as loud or as warm as the pricier brands, but it’s a great little harp that bends easily and sounds very sweet. I’m not the kind of guy that takes his harps apart, so I can’t speak technically about construction….it feels solid and hefty in my hand.
Unfortunately, I also can’t speak to durability as I only needed it once!!!
