The legs are sturdy but the center pole wiggles. Would not depend on this unless it’s for a lighter trombone that is out of the way from traffic. also, note this style stand sits a bit taller than others, so your inner slide is more exposed

I like the rubber protection to prevent scratching on the bell of the instrument. While the extra wide supports make the stand more stable, it is easy not to get them fully extended. It takes an extra check to make sure they are locked into place before placing the instrument on the stand.

This stand is very well made. I like is compact size making it very easy to take to rehearsals. Its very steady with my horn setting in it. The base is wide but low in profile so it’s not in the way.

Just great for the studio, not sure I’d use on the gig, though. Just a tiny bit tippier than my gig stand.

One of the legs broke in about 2 months but then again I was using it for a bass trombone so it was very heavy for it I’m guessing. Overall very useful. Still works fine with that leg broken.

Decided to purchase cuz I didn’t like that my son put his trombone on the floor. Not after paying so much for it. It’s value, sturdiness, portability, & stability have been great. I’m sure it’ll save us heartache & damage in the future. Thanks Eastar!!
