Compared to others on the market this Emeril Lagasse Dual Zone 360 Air Fryer Oven is solid and well built; you can feel and see its top quality right out of the box. Very easy to use once I read the manual.
Beware: It did not come with the grill plate even when the listing does say grill plate is web exclusive. An assumption is web exclusive means on Amazon site. Why even mention it if it’s not included? Emeril Lagasse has a web site where you can purchase the gril plate, large crisper pan and other accessories.
The only negative is the rotisserie did not work with a 4 lb chicken because its roundness (OD) was too big and would rub on the pan causing the rotisserie spit to pop out at one end. I purchased some meat netting which I will put on the chicken next time to see if the netting will help tighten the chicken’s roundness. If your looking for a family size Rotisserie for a 12 lb turkey, large chicken or two chickens, prime rib, ham etc. then look at the Ronco ST5000PLAT Digital Showtime Rotisserie, Platinum Edition found on Amazon. I have one and it’s great but for your smaller quick meals then this Emeril Lagasse Dual Zone 360 Air Fryer Oven is great as it will do everything you need. I love that it is dual zone. I suggest reading all its advantages and watching videos. You will need to plug this in on a dedicated electrical outlet because it uses 1750 watts and 14.58 amps.
Note: I did a temperature test on my Emeril Lagasse Dual Zone 360 Air Fryer Oven and it passed. Always test your oven temperature for accuracy with a digital thermometer because even when it says 400 degrees it may be only 325 degrees. I say this from experience. I tested two Kalorik MAXX air fryers and both of them had temperatures which fluctuated and were way off the mark.

I will be the first to admit I am not the best at cooking. Especially frying chicken. Popping Grease scares me. Got this air fryer to help me make meals easier. Great alternative to frying food in oil. Makes the process much easier and less grosser. I haven’t used it to its full potential yet but it already makes it less stressful for me. I will admit though that air frying the chicken does have a bit of a different taste than frying it in oil but not necessarily a bad taste. Just a little different. And they advertise the fryer as being able to a make a full meal for a family of four. It’s not really that big and can’t fit everything in it. They advertise that it can rotisserie a whole chicken but it can’t hold a big chicken. Only a small one and nothing else at the same time. So I don’t believe it really is suitable to cook full meals especially not for family of four. 2 maybe but I think this is best for one or two smaller dishes. But it does work well. Just not nearly large enough to cook a chicken and sides at the same time as they advertise.

I use this little guy every day, for heating up frozen meals or left-overs. Always does a great job. And you can mute the sounds so you don’t wake up a sleepy household. And you can buy extra trays if you want. I put those aluminum foil on the solid trays so I don’t have to wash them.

I don’t know why some people are saying there are no accessories. This unit comes with a lot of accessories. So far it’s been awesome. The only thing I wish there was a rotating basket with the rotisserie accessory. But there are so many other options I’ve been okay with out it.
Clean up is easy and the dual zones are an awesome idea. Plus the XLG size is great for a bigger family.

While I love the roomy oven, the french doors, and the ease in cooking just about anything, the mess is something not to be believed. Since you spray a lot of the food you’re cooking with oil, that very oil turns into a grimy, hard as a rock bunch of gunk that is almost impossible to remove from the pans. Since you’re told you should never use anything abrasive such as Comet, etc. it’s going to take me days of soaking these pans in Dawn with salt sprinkled on. I’m still not sure if that will take off the baked on gunk. So if you don’t mind the work involved I’d say this is a great oven for you. I wish I’d have gotten something that wasn’t so difficult to keep clean.

I liked the oven. I disliked the fact that it has been used when it was suppose to be new. Missing some of the pans. And it cost me 15.00 fee to ship back. Also no pans for this oven can be purchased in Canada.
