We are using these to provide bird seed to birds and encourage them to congregate. I gave a 5 star even though there are no instructions regarding how to actually catch the birds.

One broke the first day I tried filling it up.. plastic is not the best material for this, but the other one has been working just fine! Iโve seen birds come to eat multiple times.

Took me a couple of tries to figure out how to keep these open for the birds. They kept collapsing on me and therefore blocking the seed holes. Once I figured it out, it was a feeding frenzy! I love being able to watch the birds out my window. They seem so happy.
Now, when I go out to refill them, I just imagine that the little birds up in the trees are telling each other, “Master! Master comes! Master comes to fill our food. Master loves us!”
I’ve found that when you want to refill them or clean them, you need to grab hold of the second layer of clear plastic below the roof to make it easier to open, and so that it doesn’t collapse on you when you close it. You may need a little finesse.

The size of the feeder isn’t to big and not to small. The squirrel found a way to dangle and eat. Only small issue I have is that every now and then it collapses. It should be an easy fix.

The birds actually seem to love these feeders. No adjustment time needed. And I like that they are light weight, yet have a sturdy hanging wire. Because they are relatively small, they can be hung from smaller branches, but they will most likely need to be filled everyday if you have many birds stopping by. My issue with these involves the way they are made to collapse. I’m not sure if I even see a point in that feature other than it’s probably cheaper to ship. I found it hard to tell just how to click the parts into place so they would hold like the larger feeder they can be. I will think that I have them snapped into place, but then find them on the tree in the collapsed position. I’ve had them collapse on me when I’m just trying to fill them. By the way, although I like the way the lid snaps up to refill, it’s not as easy as they claim. There is a hinge with a latch on the opposite side that’s not all the easy to find. And I’ve had the collapsing action take place when I close the lid after filling. Happens quite often which is quite annoying since the seed that doesn’t fit in the smaller compartment falls to the ground. I think it’s due to the pressure I place on the lid while trying to close. The listing for these says to contact seller if one has any questions, but I can’t find a place to do just that or to post a question. Again, overall, I like these and more importantly, the birds seem to like them as well. They also seem to insulate well from the rain, protecting the seed from getting wet. I’ve actually thought of gluing the parts in place to keep the feeders from collapsing. I think I might be missing some simple fix on these to stabilize. But I’m also missing a way to ask how to do that. Their video makes it appear easy, but i’ts not. A definite challenge.

Our bears tear up our feeders, even in the daytime, so I look for cheap feeders. These are so easy to fill. I love them and if the bears destroy them, Iโll just reorder

They are easy to fill if they stay locked in place. Unfortunately that didn’t happen most of the time and the latch that keeps top closed keeps snapping open. Maybe because it’s all thin plastic and it’s a million degrees outside, who knows but I will go with one that’s a bit more sturdy next time and one solid piece.

I like how it is easy it was to extend and fill the bird feeder. I have them set up by my holly bush. that way they have a safe place to feed and hide from the hawks we have in our area. I like the roof where it keeps the squirrels and the rain from the food. Now the birds have to see the feeder since we have different kinds of birds it will be a couple of days before they see the food.
