Out of ignorance, I first bought a speed rope, could never get the hang of it, thought it was me being too old to jump rope. Waste of money.
Then I heard about weighted ropes. Bought this one on a whim. Holly crap this thing swings like I expected it to. Outstanding.
The price is right.
The material and construction is very nice. I’m honestly impressed.
I wasted so much time trying to modify my technique to accommodate the speed rope that I wasn’t enjoying it.
This ½lb weighted rope is definitely going to improve my workout variation and my general fitness.
This ½lb rope is a dream to swing.

No complaints. This rope is essential to my workouts. I use it for warm-ups and even between weight lifting sets. From what I see when I go to the gym, I’m the only one who uses a jump rope. I’m convinced that this makes me superior to everyone who doesn’t. Yep, I said what I said.

Excellent and durable jump rope. Weight feels great as it is not a speed rope but also does not feel like swinging buckets of sand.
Ability to adjust the length of rope is adequate, though the mechanism seems flimsy and isn’t precise.
Worth the price, though the tendency of the rope to retain a coil can make skipping at lower speeds difficult.

I have only had it a few days and with each new make of jump rope I adjust my hand position, rope holding wrist action, rope lenght etcl, to match muscle memory or test and develop new ones. So far this is the best jump rope I have owned. I would give it 5 stars all accross but I have not tried the ones that have a sort of 90 degree bend as an armature that bridges the rope to the handle. It is possible I will like that form better than all other ropes I have owned, direct rope exist of the handle, but so far and it will be for so long as the nice well constructed momentum holding rope goes a great jump rope experience.

長さは3mを選択、身長177cmでロープの長さ調整は不要でした。
スチールロープですので、切断が必要となる長さ調整の場合は少し苦労するかも。
商品の説明にボールベアリングの記載があり、何処に使われているのだろうと思いましたが、グリップとロープの接合部分でとてもスムーズに回り、長く跳んでいてもロープがネジネジになることもなく快適でした。
ポーチも付いていて、保管するのに良かったです。
耐久性はこれからの確認になりますが、長持ちして欲しいお値段ですね。
このメーカーから『Lite』と『X』がありどちらを選ぶか迷いました。商品の箱に比較表がついていましたので、迷われている方はご参考に。

Getting up there in years, the six pack is becoming a spare tire, etc., etc. I haven’t jumped rope since I was a kid but decided at (for my weight) at 25 calories a minute burn rate, rope is a solid add to my routine.
I bought a different rope, didn’t realize that it didn’t adjust out enough for me (6’5” is a lot to clear), so went back to shopping, this time looking for the right rope. I looked at a lot of options and settled on this one due to combination of adjustability, price, reviews, and materials.
On a personal note, if you’re like me and WAY out of practice, and you can’t hit more than 2 jumps in a row, don’t despair! It comes back fairly quickly. I was stuck in the 3 – 5 jumps before I stepped on the rope area for the first 3 or 4 times I tried it, but 2 weeks in I was hitting 50 reps with no issue.
What I love about this rope is it’s easy to adjust, and it has just enough weight to easily spin without being too heavy. WARNING however, if has a STING to it if you catch an arm or the back of your leg.
I’ve been using this rope for ~45 days, I use it every day, I have cement floors in my house, and no marks on the floor or damage to the rope. For a $20 investment, would highly recommend.
