I’ve owned and used this lock for an entire riding season. Its batteries have lasted that long, and have shown no indication of running out. It’s small but heavy, and my god is it sensitive.
Maybe that’s the only thing I dislike about it is how oversensitive it can be- if I know it’ll rain, I’ll make sure to put it on the back wheel instead of the front wheel, because if the rain hits it, it will go off.
It’s been very sturdy, and I find I don’t use the cable it comes with. It’s so sensitive that if you even start opening up the tail bag casually instead of carefully, it’ll beep at you.
I live in an area where there are people around all the time, so I use it as more of a ‘pay attention to me, I’m getting stolen!!’ alarm than an actual theft deterrent. When I sleep, I leave my window cracked open. If anyone touches the bike, even the neighbor’s cat, it’ll chirp and I’ll know to listen to see if it goes into full scream-mode.
The alarm itself is pretty loud and piercing. It does hurt my ears up close, and it’s *very* noticeable even several hundred feet away. (Definitely wakes me up at night when it rains and I forget to move it to the sheltered brake rotor on the back wheel!)
Pros:

-direction of unlocking twist (clockwise) means that if you mount it right, it’s easier to unlock without going off
Cons:
-Can be oversensitive
-Goes off in the rain
-lock mechanism is beginning to get a bit stiff after one year of weather-induced neglect
Would I buy it again? Oh yeah, it’s perfect for my use-case scenario.

A little movement sets off the warning, as written in the instructions. No false alarms, either.
Appears to be well-made and fits through the front rotors without a problem. I think that it’s a good deterrent and look fprward to seeing how it holds up over time.

Awesome theft deterrent and a must have when traveling! The device itself is extremely well made and not easy to defeat, even with an angle grinder! It would take too much time, noise and effort to defeat this device, and it’s noisy as all get out once it’s activated!!! The alarm sensitivity is excellent and triggers the moment that my bike is disturbed in any way, and the loudness will attract attention from concerned citizens I hope!?! The device comes with an extra battery pack that’s easy enough to swap out. I ordered extra batteries to keep the spare battery pack charged, loaded and ready to go. ***This device also comes with a lock reminder cord that should ALWAYS be attached when the lock is in use because I don’t want to pull off while the lock is attached to my brake rotor, that could lead to having a very bad day! I am definitely ordering a second unit as a spare or add on, and I highly recommend this device, especially when used in conjunction with other forms of theft deterrents! Unfortunately, thefts can’t be totally eliminated, but it can be slowed down, deterred or prevented effectively. Get It!!! 🏍️ 🔐 👍

There are literally dozens of similar locks on Amazon and other sites and you will find something negative about all of them, but for the money, this lock is solid and does the job. I think that when looking for a lock to secure your motorcycle, it really depends on where you are parking it and how at risk you are of it being stolen. I park my motorcycle in front of our house and in front of one of our cars, so getting it out is a chore in itself. For my situation, this lock suits my needs and the bright yellow color is a deterrent in itself. The alarm is loud enough to draw attention and installation/removal is simple. The only negative thing I have to say is that I don’t like how the alarm chirps as soon as the key touches it. And if you take too long to unlock it, like when it’s dark, the alarm WILL go off, which is annoying. Otherwise, I like it!

Haven’t had it long, but so far it’s a solid product. Works as intended. Pretty sensitive to sound the alarm, but it gives a warning before it goes off so you can stop it from going off, assuming you’re not stealing the bike lol
