Russell Henderson –
I am a huge Fender guy. I have 30 Fender guitars. So believe me when I tell you these always come broken, defective, with the high E string tuner super wobbly, or skipping across the gear, there is NO WAY that your guitar would stay in tune. Do yourself a favor & buy GENUINE Kluson tuners, which are still available from Amazon. There is no comparison. These are garbage. Compare these to genuine Kluson & it’s night & day… total opposites as far as quality goes. PASS on these. Not worth your time, money, or the return process that you will have to deal with…

Excellent tuners, probably my favorite style even over locking models. Eyelet is large enough for hybrid string gages, smooth tuning and excellent stability. Cosmetically they are just right, the relic finish is subtle but classy. Used in a David Gilmour black strat project and honestly could not be happier with the performance and look of these tuners.

If you dont wanna do the work, you can buy this.
DIY
1. Remove plate and sand with 0000 wool or a green scotch brite pad. Do the same with the screws
2. Get a large container/pot and fill with vinegar until bottom is covered.
3. Get a smaller container/tupperware thatll fit in the pot and place the plate and screws in there. The vinegar shouldnt touch the contents inside the smaller container. If it does thats okay.
4. Close the pot so the vinegar’s air will circulate in the pot and will tarnish the metal. (Leave the smaller container open)
5. Come back in an hour or two and its “road worn”. The longer you leave it the more old itll look.
6. If youre looking for a blank plate, literally just flip your plate around. Whether yours has an “F” or whatever marking, the back is definitely blank.

Finish is great. Tuning keys def look vintage. Fitting each guitar will be different. I had to ream the top holes a bit to get the ferrets to fit. Also you might want to order some screws I barely made these work. The originals in an old guitar the screw heads are wider if that makes sense to you good luck

One of the 6 tuners were broken. Wasn’t a big deal for me because I had one spare tuner that sort of matched. Great vintage feel and look. These work great
Will I am –
I have used these on several of my guitars. They work perfectly and keep the guitars in tune.

The aging is done nicely.
But the actual fit on a fender neck plus the quality of screws leaves a lot to be desired.
There are far better tuner in this price range

Excellent rien a dire je recommande

Fantastic, real Fender tuners. Love the vintage styling. Unfortunately they would not work to replace the tuners on a CX Squier Strat I am fixing up, as the existing holes were too large for the bezels. But I will hold on to them and use them eventually on another project, as they are top notch for the price point.

bra delar till bra pris

I prefer split shaft Kluson-type tuners for the string-locking function, stability and light weight. The latter is critical on many instruments as a lighter headstock increases resonance and sustain.
These have just the right amount of aging – that of a well-maintained 50’s Tele or Strat. Flawless installation and functionality. If you have a 1950-55 Fender reissue (or need to replace worn-out tuners on an original) these are the correct type (save the originals – vintage buyers will want them!)
