I like this product because it takes a single AA battery – no fooling around with obscure button cells. The keys are raised and have good tactile feel to them. The calculator is augmented with solar and it has an OFF key. If you need to add/subtract percents (%) it’s straight forward; meaning, you don’t have to multiply the number by a decimal and then add it. Very happy with the purhcase.

I bought these calculators to use in my middle school classroom. They come without batteries, but do work with solar power. I never put any batteries in and they worked fine. They had a hard time with the student constant use and I had many that ended up missing buttons and the solar chip stopped working after awhile and the screen became difficult to read. I probably wouldn’t buy this set again.
