When I was in the Army, we had amazing cots that took a lot of work, strength, and sweat to set up because of the high tension on the sleeping nylon fabric. This cot nearly simulates that same feeling (high tension) I used to have sleeping on the Army cots except better (tilt, cushion, and instant set up). The tilt for the head is conducive to falling asleep. The cushion is so light that I did not expect the high amount of additional comfort it provides. The cot is plenty comfortable with or without the cushion.

As a 6 foot plus, 250 lbs person, I am always leery and cautious of cheap fold-out fold-up camping furniture. Now that I am getting older, I am scared that if the chair or cot collapses, I will be in trouble and injured on the ground. With that said, after the first try, I had a lot of confidence. The cot felt sturdy, solid, and stable. The stated capacity is 330 lbs. I’ve evaluated cots that seemed nearly identical to this one with 500, 600 lbs limits – and this one felt the same so I’m not sure what’s different.

I did not want to load the cot to maximum but with just me, it was awesome. My dog could even sleep on top with no problems overloading the cot! I also had my friend, who is heavier than I (he’s closer to 300 lbs), give the cot a try and he had the same opinion – nice and solid with no concerns. The frame seemed rock solid and sturdy. Remember this is a COT not a bed and mattress – no cot will ever replace a bed and mattress.

The cot is super easy to set up. It just unfolds and locks into place. The folded cot stands about waist high. Putting away the cot was perhaps even faster than unfolding – I stood the cot vertically and the frame collapsed. I’m sure with more practice, I will be much more proficient and faster at unfolding the cot – which already only took about 1 minute.

The cushion is optional. To me the cot is perfectly comfortable without the cushion, but even better with the light padding the cushion provides. The cushion has a small hood sleeve to slide on the head of the cot, then diagonal elastic straps at the foot of the cot. The attachment and securing of the cushion to the cot leaves a little to be desired.

The weakest point is the very thin fabric storage bag which was big enough to store the cot AND the cushion. However, I had to tightly roll up the cushion – compression straps would help. Stuffing the cushion also puts the single stitching on the bag to the test.

I feel this cot could be twice, maybe even three times, the price and I’d still give a 5-star – that’s how good it is and how much I like it.

I got this order on time with no issues, it arrived in great condition. This cot is very easy to place out, simply take it out of the bag and open it up and that’s it. This cot is the size of a twin bed and very, very comfortable. I was surprised at how comfortable it is. It is very sturdy as well and has 2 side pockets. Folding it up is easy and does not take up so much space.

The cot itself was wonderful easy setup and tear down but the included mattress wasn’t so great. My nephew slept on it for about 10 days and as you can see the area where your head goes is completely flat. I tried to fluff it up but it didn’t work. I suggest you invest in another mattress or mattress topper/ egg crate foam. Other than that it’s good just a little squeaky.

I really can not say enough nice thinks about this cot. The frame is very sturdy even with me being in the 260 lb. range. It sleeps just fine without the cushion, but using the cushion you get a lot more comfort. There is a nice little side pocket for your glasses, book, electronics etc. I have now used this on 3 camping trips and I have been pleasantly surprised each morning with how well it sleeps. Very nice cot at a very budget friendly price.
