I purchased this NT710 for my 2014 Audi Q7 TDI. I needed to code a new battery for the car. I recieved the package and charged it up to 100%. Downloaded all the updates. Read the instruction book, which barely tells you anything. Plugged it into my car went to diagnostics clicked on Audi and get an error message . It will not read my car and ad on amazon said it would. I look for a support telephone number and Foxwell has none. The show live online chat support. Try that and get a message there is no one there. Foxwell sells a piece of crap and then does not offer support. Don’t waste your time or money on this.

This thing work fabulously. It was able to help me diagnose a lot of problems, and then reset things so that I could get my emissions passed. But also gives you the ability to download different makes and models of cars so you can let your friends borrow this to fix their s***.

The unit is responsive, and the menu navigation is intuitive. These foxwell manufacturer specific focused tools are a great way to get advanced diagnostics and functionality out of your specific vehicle. Seems to do everything that dealer tools can accomplish with some minor limitations. You can code advanced features, and modules, and do a variety of there tasks with this device. A great bang for the buck. I have the BMW specific version and I can do everything I want to do on E and F chassis cars. Comes in a blow molded case for easy storage and transport. This is a midlevel scanner with excellent value and performance imho.

Very good product. Robust and very user friendly interface. It has a 5.5 Touchscreen that is very responsive and easy to update both the app and firmware, and it has plenty of options. Mine was purchased for VAG-VolkswagonAudiGroup and works perfectly. There are many other updates that can be purchased for about $80.00 per manufacturer like Chevy, Ford, Dodge, Nissan, etc. so that this unit can become a very comprehensive tool in your car interest or hobbies down the road. It can print out or send PDF files of your reports that are generated to your email as well. Great purchase IMO.

This is really a great unit. I also own the VCDS USB unit that plugs into the OBDII port on one end and a PC/laptop via USB on the other. The VCDS options are all present in the Foxwell, and the Foxwell contains a few additional functions such as battery adaptation and brake maintenance. I recently performed a full brake job on my Atlas and one of the requirements was to either disconnect the e-brake unit or use a device like this to retract the e-brake while performing the maintenance. I didn’t have this unit yet, so I disconnected the e-brake motor. It would have been nice to have this unit instead!
Not only will this Foxwell perform diagnostics and run tests, but it will also perform adaptations and customizations. It’s very user friendly and easy to navigate, and the touch screen works well.
The Foxwell requires a WiFi connection to update the firmware and databases, and you need to create a free user account as well. But other than that, there were no surprise charges or fees of any kind.
For basic maintenance and custom adaptations, this is a great value!

This Foxwell scanner is very accurate and will diagnose the problem quick, all you have to do to start is connect to a WiFi device and set up an account and download the database so you have everything stored. The touchscreen features works amazing and it isn’t wireless, so you have to plug into the OBD and the scanner to have it function, but it plugs in easy and the set up is simple to use. Durable and has a protection around the unit in case you drop it so it will protect it. Quality made and not too heavy and works on all types of vehicles, if you vehicle isn’t on the chart that it shows that it works for, you can download your particular model for only $80 per brand and it will stay on the device, so great for many vehicles and has a lot of options. Overall quality device and it works amazing. 5 Stars.
