I just revived this OBD2 Code Reader.
I have a some of the smaller OBD2 readers that do not have as many features. They are good for basic code reading, but not much else.
This code reader will do many things the smaller ones cannot. There are basic features like reding temperatures, and resetting the maintenance reminder lights, plus many more modules it can read.
This reader is not wireless. It uses a cable to connect it to the OBD2 port on the car.
I have seen wireless code readers which are almost identical to this one, but they are more expensive.
In my opinion, it seems much more convenient to use a wireless scanner, instead of the corded version.
Although this is a plug in code reader, it still needs charging. My normal charger, that has different power output plugs would not charge this device, instead it slowly depleted the battery. I thought I had a bad unit, but another charger worked fine and charged the battery normally.
My reader, may have been returned. It has a large scratch on the screen, but it’s not deep.
It does come in a plastic case, but the cable needs to be unscrewed form the reader to fit in the case.
Overall, this reader gives you many options that the inexpensive versions do not. There may be competitive models in the same price range that are also wireless, otherwise, there are many features / modules this tool can read.

Interface is very easy to use. Nice out of touch screen. Tablet handles everything pretty well. Scanning function seems to work pretty well. On occasional hit and miss. Came with everything I needed to get scanning right away.

I literally spent $325 on this stupid tool to be able to reset the maintenance service light and it DOES NOT have that functions. Diagnostic tool only, it’s going back!
Edit- foxwell updated it and it now resets all lights. 5 stars

Overall, really happy with this. It works great and seems sturdy. Definitely a good choice. It does exactly what I needed it to do without any hassle. Highly recommend for anyone considering it. Four stars!

Porsches can be a pain to diagnose as they don’t work with a decent number of OBD2 scanner tools out there. I’m not sure why that is and never bothered to investigate as we don’t handle many Porsches at our shop. But this tool does indeed work. We tested it on one of the employee’s cars which was a Porsche. I think this is a solid tool for DIY mechanics but I’m not sure I’d use it in a commercial setting.

This is a review of (Upgraded NT510 Elite) FOXWELL NT710 fit for Porsche Diagnostic Scan Tool Full System OBD2 Scanner Code Reader with Bidirectional Control All Maintenance Service Oil Reset ABS Bleed SRS EPB TPMS BMS.
I am sure there are things I am missing when I used the other tool but it still has a lot of the same, practically identical in my experience. Only thing is this cost a 5th of that other one.
I quickly had it connected to my vehicle and going through all the options with no issue. The tablet is very durable. It was made for the use in a shop and being handled rough. The case is durable as well. They are definitely task built knowing the abuse it will have to endure. It has an exceptional battery life and regularly updated to make sure I have access to the most current and accurate information as well as functionality.
This is perfect for the pro mechanic or DIYer and is affordable for both. All these, good in their own rights, parts store OBD II scanners have nothing on this tool. You are now able to diagnose and repair just like the pros but on a DIYer budget.

SUMMARY
I’ve found that Porsches typically don’t work with a lot of standard OBD scanners. This Foxwell one works really well in my experience with 981 and 991 models. It appears to have an Android-based operating system that functions well and allows for OTA system updates. Overall, this is an excellent OBD system designed for Porsche.
