I planned a long trip to see my family. I used a full bottle for each full fill-up of gas on the way in (2-tanks) to ensure everything in the system was cleaned. My gas mileage improved from 16.9 highway to 20.4 and that was on mountain highways in WV with steep inclines. Engine seems a bit more responsive now. I’m about due for a change of spark plugs, so that may provide a bit more improvement.

I took a chance on this product after reading some reviews elsewhere. I was experiencing some severe pinging on a Audi 2.0 turbo direct injection engine and suspected it was due to carbon build up on the pistons. Ran an endoscope into a couple of cylinders and found significant build up as suspected. I figured I’d try this before committing to a teardown. It’s pricey but way less than a head pull.
The car ran better on the first tank. I had a significant mid-range stumble in addition to the low rpm ping, and the stumble went away before I finished the tank. Big boost in mid range power, smoother running throughout the rpm range. After the second tank I was convinced the pinging was greatly reduced. Just ran the endoscope into the cylinder and you see the results yourself. It’s the real deal.
I used an aggressive strategy: I bought two bottles and added the first one with a half tank of gas – about 7 gallons. Way more concentrated than called for but I was desperate. Ran that tank down then filled the next tank halfway again, added the second bottle, ran that one down before topping off the tank.
What you see in the first pic is the result of oil vapor carbonizing on the cylinder top but in a pattern that suggests that the injector was not clean and therefore not misting the fuel but rather squirting in streams, the streams are the clean part of the piston, with carbon build up between the streams. Second pic shows the fuel no longer streaming, so entire piston top is getting cleaned by the fuel, as it should be.
Pricey stuff but it works.

I’ve used Royal Purple, Techron, Lucas, and other fuel cleaners in the past but didn’t really notice any improvement. The BG 44K is the first fuel system cleaner I have used that produces noticeable results very quickly. Previously my MPG indicator right after gas fill-up would always start at around18mpg, then slowly go up to around 24mpg after a few days. Adding the BG 44K the MPG went to 26 within a mile after refueling, then kept increasing to over 30. This fuel system cleaner eliminated a throttle hang-over when coming to a complete stop- now idle drops down properly when stopping instead of racing slightly for half a second before dropping. Smoother drivability and idle, more power and getting about 2mpg better gas mileage.
I change my oil and filter every 5,000 miles and add a bottle of the BG at the same time. It’s more expensive than the others but well worth the added cost since it works. Highly recommended.

Bought for my 2010 Range Rover hse luxury supercharged, it went in on an empty tank. Noticed 1/4 tank through that the acceleration tick was gone!!! Better gas mileage. Much faster! Wowwiewaaaa!! Buy it!!! Love that supercharger smell….

For decades, many dealerships, been telling you they will claim your fuel injectors, and all they actually do is put this in there.
Check all the sellers, then go for one shipping from Amazon and order. Buy the best price. Just make sure shipping from Amazon.
